Many if not most have guaranteed contracts. The NBA was first major sport to stop because of the virus which caused the cascade of all the others. The players got full pay so why not. Will any NBA owner have the stones to try to withhold pay for “this worthy cause”?
That sounds like really good news. I may start watching the NBA again when the demographics are equal to the general population.
As a Celtics fan, I was overjoyed to see Kyrie Irving leave the Celtics last year. He was a completely exhausting locker-room cancer and facepalming weirdo, and he sucked all the oxygen out of the room at every opportunity.
SO GLAD he’s now some other team’s problem.

Perfect. If it were just the virus as the reason, LeBron would be complaining because he knows it’s a wasted season of his career for another title. Because it’s now racism as the reason, going to be difficult for him to whine about that.

I think the players should sit out for the next 15 years. At least, they should refuse to play until Don Lemon and AOC say there is no more racial injustice in the United States.
Is there any sport blacker than professional basketball?
And is there any professional sport in America where you'll find more black fans in the stands than whites?
If the players violate their contract, don’t pay them. Money always talks.
