“They wouldn’t dare not show up for their paychecks.”

Many if not most have guaranteed contracts. The NBA was first major sport to stop because of the virus which caused the cascade of all the others. The players got full pay so why not. Will any NBA owner have the stones to try to withhold pay for “this worthy cause”?

They have set up a gravy train, no doubt. But it is not a perpetual energy machine.

At some point more energy is going to have to be fed into the system for it continue.

Let’s all stop feeding it and see what happens.

I've heard it said on ESPN radio several times that if the players do not show up for this resumed season, that the owners can tear up the contract with the NBA players' association.
