Protesters smashed glass doors and windows of at least 15 buildings in downtown Phoenix in the second night of disturbances related to the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

Agree. If I were younger, I’d be after this story. It’s a convergence of so much- real outrage and sorrow, left and right agitating, corrupt journalists and reporters, ignorance and confusion of citizens. All this in the midst of a pandemic that’s already magnified our differences.

The guy was a criminal who committed crimes multiple times, some of which deadly force would have been appropriate defense. I’m sorry this idiot cop hastened his heart attack, but bestowing sainthood on a black criminal killed by a bad white cop is just plain stupid.

I don’t want this. I know it will possibly help Trump, but I still do not want it. I know the cities are often filled with people that hate me, yet I don’t want the cities destroyed.

The riots seem to be running along Lake Street in Mpls and University Ave / Midway in St. Paul, targeting only businesses.
The black neighborhoods in North Minneapolis are quiet as is the Somali community (Central Ave) that lives near us, which is also very quiet.

We had some peaceful protests here in Orlando earlier but given what we’re seeing in unexpected places we may see some foolishness later.

They are looting store in Chicago on Michigan Ave. Actually surprised the police are letting this happen.
I was wondering about all the traffic heading downtown on Broadway today. I guess it was idiots going to get cellphone videos of the action for Twitter.
