Crew ingress in progress.
Second time is the charm.
The hell with bad news. Onward, forward, skyward and spaceward!
Godspeed Bob and Dough!
And all ya'alls, take the red pill.
Why would we want to go back to 1970s technology?
Got it running on my big Roku tv via YouTube app. Better than watching at the office on Wednesday!
Currently no go on weather but theres time to clear oh I hope it does!!
This is “private” in a kleptocracy:

Somebody needs a hug
Somebody also needs to remember that were now landing boosters back at the pad like something from a 1950s sci-fi movie. I miss the shuttle, too, but there are huge advances still occurring here. And it must be remembered that the shuttle was very limited - it could only operate in relatively low Earth orbit. It was a great space truck, but it was only a space truck. It couldnt go anywhere else.
12:50:56 + 2:31 = 15:21:56 = 3:15 PM
Capsules are not 1970s technology. They are a case of form following function. A winged spacecraft like the shuttle could only operate in low Earth orbit, with relatively low re-entry speeds. Try to take one somewhere like the moon (or Mars) and it would burn up at the higher re-entry speeds upon its return. Capsules are the ideal shape for re-entry from longer-distance space flights, simple as that.
“What time is takeoff?”
The instantaneous launch window opens at 3:22 p.m. EDT, or 19:22 UTC, with a backup instantaneous launch opportunity available on Sunday, May 31 at 3:00 p.m. EDT, or 19:00 UTC.

TY.
I was referring to the SS.
Ah, OK. I got it backwards.
To me, this is recapturing what our “leaders” and bureaucrats let go of. THEY should be humiliated, and most of all the unAmerican muzzie Obama.
I’ve a young great nephew who’s interest is piqued by this (the Tesla with astronaut in space was “Oh, yeah!”), as I was at his age by Gemini and Apollo. Yay! I’m feeding it; he’ll be getting some good models, and maybe an Arduino-based working replica of the LEM Nav Computer.
I’ll see your LOL and raise you a ROTFLMAO
Capsules. A great childhood memory of mine was seeing a flatbed truck hauling three Apollo capsules parked at a roadhouse restaurant somewhere in Georgia.
The food was always great in those roadhouse places.
Thanks.
