The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has arrested the man who recorded cellphone video of Ahmaud Arbery being shot and killed.
William “Roddie” Bryan, 50, shot the video that showed what appears to be Gregory and Travis McMichael shooting and killing Ahmaud Arbery while he was out jogging in February.
In a news release, the GBI said it charged Bryan with felony murder and criminal contempt to commit false imprisonment.

Nobody planned a murder.
I'll agree that they didn't set out to murder anyone. But what they set out to do and what appears to have happened wound up being two different things.
They called the cops and tried to make him wait. They were prudently armed but never pointed a gun at him.
They confronted him carrying a shotgun, and could well have been pointing it at him. Something made Arbery desperate enough to try and get the gun away. Having a gun pointed at you would certainly do that.
Your boy decided to charge them from a distance, fake left and go right around the truck and attack the man to try to take his gun away.
My "boy"? I'm assuming that was just a poor choice of words on your part.
Nut in other words he tried to run past the truck and was confronted with an armed man who, for all he knew, was going to shoot him. People have a right to defend themselves.
In the struggle he was shot dead.
He was shot three times. Once might have been accidental, three is deliberate.
Good riddance to that turd.
Well if your boys are convicted of murder then they'll have a long time to consider what happened and maybe "good riddance to that turd" will provide them comfort.
All three will be acquitted at trial.
It's possible. The victim is black, the killers were white, and it's still rural Georgia after all. They may well get away with it. But a trial is still justified. As are the charges.
And all the thousands of posts by you and others convicting Arbery. Don't forget them.

It is a difference in mind set. Lots of people do their own plumbing, harvest their own garden, educate their kids, even build their own houses.
The idea that everything should be left up to the "experts" is enervating.

I hope the Georgia prosecutors in this case are not dirty cops like some of those at the federal level who have tried to put innocent people in prison.

Two of the shots were fired while the two were grappling for the shotgun. It seems very likely the first shot was fired while Abery had his hand on, or about to grasp the shotgun.
How can you, in any fair statement, characterize those as "warning shots"?

That is an interesting comment. Don’t some attorney’s charge a flat fee for work on a criminal case?
Are you close enough to this case to know which method is being used by each of the attorneys?
Whatever the case, they are going to be owing their lawyers a ton of cash. The lawyer may not exactly bill by the hour, but the lawyer knows how much time he will spend prepping for and trying the case.

Not just a murder trail. Look at what the dirty cops did to General Flynn. He is said to have sold his home to pay legal fees.
There is usually no limit to how much government prosecutors can spend to convict someone they take a hankering to get. That’s taxpayer dollars.

Police do not have super powers. You have super power of law and rights. Just because most cower in fear and refuse to lift a finger doesn’t make them criminals. It makes other cowards.
I was mistaken. They did not get him for being an accessory. They got him for being a principle. He is in more trouble than I thought that he was. They also hit the MC Michael’s residence with a search warrant.
