The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has arrested the man who recorded cellphone video of Ahmaud Arbery being shot and killed.
William Roddie Bryan, 50, shot the video that showed what appears to be Gregory and Travis McMichael shooting and killing Ahmaud Arbery while he was out jogging in February.
In a news release, the GBI said it charged Bryan with felony murder and criminal contempt to commit false imprisonment.

To charge someone with felony murder, they will need to prove that he was involved in the commission of a felony.
Following a burglar is not a felony.
The defendants will lose everything they own long before the civil trials.
The big payday for Mr. Arbery’s family - if there is a big payday - will be when a city or county insurance company settles out of court because their law enforcement agency is alleged to have done something wrong.
Except nothing was burgled.
I find it hilarious that everything the white guys say, we are supposed to accept without question.
They are some pretty silly white boys.
Other than being on the spot and calmly filming, what exactly did he do? Sounds more like innuendo and speculation at this juncture.
I’m doing no such thing putz. I’m withholding all judgement until a trial or dropped charges. you and your friends are falling all over yourselves convicting them. you really should be ashamed. I’m certain you would be crushed if you were accused of something and people all around you claimed you did it without a fraction of the evidence being seen.
That what it seems to boil down to. Either that or they're trying to spook him in an effort to get him to turn on the Dad and son. Either way, this seems very odd.
“I thought they recused themselves?”
At this point.... what difference does it make?
I’m not.
That’s just drama on your part. It wasn’t a posse after anyone. Nobody planned a murder. A bunch of neighbors came out after a suspicious guy. They called the cops and tried to make him wait. They were prudently armed but never pointed a gun at him.
Your boy decided to charge them from a distance, fake left and go right around the truck and attack the man to try to take his gun away. In the struggle he was shot dead. Good riddance to that turd.
All three will be acquitted at trial.
sums it right up.
I wonder if the prosecutor has hopes that this third arrestee will cut a deal to implicate the father and son?
Some here speculate that could happen and maybe it will.
However, some news reports say this third arrestee has changed his story more than once since the shooting. This could possibly complicate things for the prosecutor, especially if the third person decides to put a little extra jam on the biscuit to please the prosecutor.
Any discrepancies in the testimony of the third person - if that were to happen - will be exploited by the defense. Reasonable doubt.
The defense attorneys for the father and son may or may not be reluctant to attack the deceased. I don't think they will hesitate to attack the third man if he takes the stand for the prosecution.
“I wonder if the prosecutor has hopes that this third arrestee will cut a deal to implicate the father and son?”
Are you implying that a prosecutor will attempt to get one of the of the accused to roll over on one of the other who are accused?
Shooting him is.
Yes, that's obvious from your reply 70. </sarcasm>
I don't know for sure but I do wonder if the prosecutor has hopes that this third arrestee will cut a deal to implicate the father and son?
This is a Mike Flynn set up job. To convict the video guy they must prove he knew they were going to shoot the “jogger”. That’s highly unlikely but they will bankrupt the guy with legal fees unless he confesses or makes a deal.
Yep, he was clearly running right at the armed neighbor, initially on the drivers side, then he quickly pivoted to the right, ran along the passenger side of the truck, pivoted left at the front of the truck and attacked the armed neighbor. I believe he did this in an attempt to "surprise" the armed neighbor.
“I don’t know for sure but I do wonder if the prosecutor has hopes that this third arrestee will cut a deal to implicate the father and son?”
That’s what prosecutors do.
aren’t all people innocent unless found guilty? I guess not to you due to your THOUSANDS of posts convicting them.
Any encounter may end in shooting.
This is a modern lynching of anyone who dares confront a black man.
Consider if Arbery had been white, and shot in the same scenario.
The initial prosecutor's decision would never have been questioned by the Media.
