If that is the theory then it's one I don't share. I have never suggested the McMichaels set out to kill Arbery. They tried to play police officer, screwed up badly, killed a man, and are now facing murder charges that could sent them to prison for life. The fact that it wasn't intentional does not make killing Arbery any better or any worse.
