Governor Cuomo Signs the 'New York State on PAUSE' Executive Order

Most new Covid-19 hospitalizations in New York state are from people who were staying home and not venturing much outside, a “shocking” finding, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Wednesday.
The preliminary data was from 100 New York hospitals involving about 1,000 patients, Cuomo said at his daily briefing.
It shows that 66% of new admissions were from people who had largely been sheltering at home. The next highest source of admissions was from nursing homes, 18%.
“If you notice, 18% of the people came from nursing homes, less than 1% came from jail or prison, 2% came from the homeless population, 2% from other congregate facilities, but 66% of the people were at home, which is shocking to us,” Cuomo said.
“This is a surprise: Overwhelmingly, the people were at home,” he added. “We thought maybe they were taking public transportation, and we’ve taken special precautions on public transportation, but actually no, because these people were literally at home.”
Cuomo said nearly 84% of the hospitalized cases were people who were not commuting to work through car services, personal cars, public transit or walking. He said a majority of those people were either retired or unemployed.

I don’t know what chart they looked at. This seems a chart of where people came to the hospital from. It has Home, Prison, Nursing home, Homeless, Assisted living. Home means where the person was living. It does not mean that they were sheltering in place. They could have been a grocery clerk, cook, elevator repairman, auto mechanic etc. I cannot believe Cuomo and the media could see this chart and not understand it
Also where the the additional 520 deaths and new cases come from today hours after Mario’s brat announced 232 fatalities.
Social distancing and masks only slow down the transmission. People not taking precautions either died already or are immune.
What is horrifying are the people who love them and blindly follow and listen to them. This outright murder and incompetence is what the left desperately wants to stick on the President.

“Staying at home lowers your immune system. Those of you who have been too afraid to leave your home and come in contact with germs will be far more likely to get sick when you do start venturing out and mingling with humans. Coming in contact with germs is necessary for a strong immune system“
Not sure why this is so hard for everyone to understand. And you know the WHO and CDC, ect all know this as well. Which makes one wonder why their solution is 180 degrees opposed to this.
Cuomo’s twisting numbers like a pretzel if in any way they would point at him......
And the media is there with him.

Cuomo will never be anything more than the lying shyster crook he’s always been......and the media always glorifies ‘their’ crooked starlites of the hour.
The terrified people who have stayed at home for the last months or longer and still seem intent on staying home until Who knows, Are going to have a rude awakening when even something like the common cold makes them much sicker than a ever has.

Half of deaths in surrounding states and Europe are residents of nursing homes.
That’s NOT what the chart is saying. And I don’t take Matio’s brat’s word as Gospel. I seriously doubt hospitals are conducting such detailed interviews with incoming ER patients.
The common theme of all those wishing to stay home is “gets a check from the government”. They are protecting themselves at the expense of everyone else less livelihood. They are not content to isolate the expect everyone else to do likewise.
Many o this forum are all in on the tyranny.

90+ deaths from covid patients in hospitals could very likely have been prevented had there not been a derelict EO banning it’s use early and, and the folks had been given HCQ, antibiotic and Zinc early enough-
Most days I pluck at least one stem of wild garlic and eat it raw. Even if a little dirt goes along for the ride.

be careful though- i developed an allergy to garlic by overdoing it- used to eat cloves of garlic when i was on an ‘all natural health kick’- because I’d read how wonderful it is for folks- now even just a tiny bit of garlic makes me sweaty, shaky, dizzy- and it repeats on me for many hours- I’m bummed about it because i loved garlic- I gotta be real careful now because a lot of things have garlic in it-
