I think giving the States a chance to open up is the best approach for now. Once a few states open up, and the results look good, the rest will fall in line.

As usual, President Trump played the Dems perfectly. He KNEW by letting the states do what they wanted (I mean, in part he had to; 10th Amendment) it clearly shows which Dem Governors would become power-mad JERKS in their various states.
Governor Evers (D, Pencil-Neck, WI) has us on lock down until May 26th!
One of the first thoughts I had about this Chinese virus was, “Well if they’re going to panic about this, what will it be like when the real thing hits?”

I agree. I was disappointed in Trump’s words last night, because it sounded like he had given up. So I’m really excited about this tweet, because it means he realizes Americans aren’t going to stand for this much longer.
The other thing is that it’s not only governors, but municipal and county authorities that have gotten a taste of power and are totally drunk on it. Our governor, who only got forced by the media into shutting down the state - but not very thoroughly - turns out to be a good guy and has spoken to some of the local authorities about loosing their restrictions.
This has been a very interesting excursion into the ways of power and its bureaucratic substructure.
Billionaire Donald Trump was never a politician until he won the Presidency.
Like in almost everything he does, he has out politics the politicians.
