ANNAPOLIS, MD—As the COVID-19 crisis escalates in the National Capital Region, Governor Larry Hogan today issued a Stay at Home order to protect public health and safety. The order, which takes effect at 8:00 p.m. tonight, states that no Maryland resident should leave their home unless it is for an essential job or for an essential reason, such as obtaining food or medicine, seeking urgent medical attention, or for other necessary purposes.

each state has an emergency powers act authorizing the governor to act during the emergency. You either voted on it or your reps did. The president has the same at the national level enacted in 1974. Most rights have exceptions, not unusual during a war or an emergency.
These “faux-king”/governors are not going to give up their vast new, self-anointed powers unless they’re forced to ... believe it! This is their one and only shot at socialism ... and they’re not giving an inch.
