Reminds me too much of Bush Jr. waiting until the last minute to fire his enemies. The Democrats, Clinton and Obama, wasted no time in getting rid of people who could cause problems - and by doing that so early, they didn’t have to deal with the political backlash when it counted (i.e., near an election). I don’t know why the hell Trump was willing to leave them in place so long, as it was OBVIOUS to his supporters as to what was going on.

There is no doubt that President Trump is aware of their shenanigans and will override their recommendations to keep the economy shut until the elections. They will attempt to make the President wait for a vaccine to re open the churches and workforce.
Birx and Fauci are almost certainly secretly thrilled that the economy is suffering in the hope that a ‘rat president will be elected.

I am very comfortable with myself thank you very much and I am going to keep demanding foe the heads of the two jokers(Birx and Fauci) who with their totally wrong predictions and stirring up mass hysteria, have managed to put more Americans out of work than ever before in history. There is one risk to all this. When the inevitable fraud and abuse of these massive new programs is uncovered Trump won’t have Obama holdovers to blame it on. All his own people will be in place. Trump will own it.
The problem is not removing them. The problem is getting
replacements confirmed.
On Day 1, Trump did not know who his friends or enemies were. While it’d been exciting to see him ax all these Rat scum, I think he played it smartly, and it taking them over time. That means others in office and awaiting their fate are squirming, and may make mistakes!
Trump stated he relied on his task force especially the doctors as the justification for closing the borders. So you are wrong.
You are absolutely incorrect that Fauci is waging a war on the anti malaria drug and any other drug. He is a doctor and thus, he can say it shows promise etc. but he has to base his decisions on proper scientific studies. That hasn’t happened yet but I think we are getting close. Others in the administration are key to moving this drug out there, have taken the lead and it is showing promise in most, not all, cases.
By the way, Fauci does not make the decisions. Trump has assembled an excellent task force of medical specialists, folks who specialize in procurement, folks who specialize in logistics and folks who specialize in economic matters. They debate as a whole and provide advice as a whole to the president who ultimately makes the decision. Trump supports all of them including Mike Pence who leads the task force. To go after one or two people in the task force for no good reason is just plain wrong and ignorant of what is happening behind closed doors.
