President Trump recently fired Intel Community IG Michael Atkinson and he’s reportedly gearing up to fire several more Deep State IGs in one fell swoop.
The IGs Trump is looking to fire were appointed by Barack Obama or beforehand.
“President Trump wants his own people in those positions now.”

Real Clear Politics reporter Susan Crabtree said it could include Brian Miller, senior White House associate counsel, as special inspector general for pandemic recovery at the Treasury Department. Trump appointed Miller to the special IG post last Friday
Also — some of these are likely replacements for IGs who have been serving in only acting roles (not Senate confirmed )– but at least some of whom were first put in their position by Pres. Obama

I hope Mitch moves this along quickly. Mitch is like the girl with the curl. When he’s good he’s very very good but when he’s bad he’s horrid.
Hopefully Pelosi’s shenanigans w/impeachment and the CARE act have him sufficiently riled up.
Just a guess but..
I think part of the reason has to be that he has to have a solid replacement before he removes someone.
Easier said than done.
Especially since there seems to be a shortage of honest hard working pro-American individuals to choose from.
Another reason for leaving an obama appointee in place might be to see what they actually do in that position. Who are they associating with and so on.
Seperate the one’s that are simply government hacks and place holders with the corrupt deep state swamp dweller.
Hanging might be a much more appropriate response.
3 things to keep in mind:
1. IG’s have oversight authority over Departments and Bureaus and answer to POTUS through the Department head.
2. IGs are appointed by POTUS and do not have to withstand Advise & Consent in the Senate.
3. IGs are NOT part of the SES and continue in their position at the “pleasure” of POTUS.
These guys a gun-slingers; mercenaries.
It’s similar to the argument ..why do we not bring back manufacturing to this country?
Easier said than done.
There are lots of logistics involved.
That are time consuming. Isn’t going to happen overnight.
Even then i doubt 90% of manufacturing is actually coming back.
But the health equipment and pharma.
The important, really national security /safety stuff.
Correction:
1. Search for any Clinton and Obama appointees
2. Carefully scrutinize any Bush appointees.
3. Remove all Democrats and Swamp Republicans.
I suspect Trump is a man that only fires someone if he finds good reason to do so, and he gives everyone the benefit of the doubt first. A fair man.
But screw him or cross him or bad-mouth him — they’re toast. And he’s POTUS.
This is an excellent move. Finally recognize just how much power and influence these IGs wield, with most of the uninformed public believing they are really independent and impartial. Lots of Deep State here.
Any and All obammy appointed people should have been let go on day one.
Quick correction. Moving too fast this morning.
2. IGs are appointed by POTUS and do not have to be reviewed by the House (consultation) before being nominated (see also Schiff’s letter to Grenell). Interim IGs do not withstand Senate Advise & Consent.
I agree with changing the IGs as he should bring in his own people. Your comment on the doctors makes no sense as Trump fully supports them, they have been supportive of Trump and other doctors would say the exact same thing.

We have to chop a lot of suffocating federal regulations and the related taxes. Shrink government bigly.
