Well if they are they sure have an odd way of showing it by supporting Trump on the border closures, testing kits etc. and Trump is supporting them big time. I have heard your and others comments on this db over the doctors and frankly, it’s just way over the top.

Trump was way ahead of everyone on banning flights from China. and he has been trying to get the borders sealed for years He didn't need Birx and Fauci for that.
The point is Fauci is busy waging a war on Chloroquine (so far, by far the mos effective treatment for Coronavirus). Every single day he has something derogatory to say about it if not on CNN then on MSNBC, ABC, NBC etc. The last thing Fauci wants is for Chloroquine to work
Thing is, its NOT his job to approve drugs, (that's for the FDA) not to mention he has exactly ZERO experience in treating anyone who has coronavrus.
