On Saturdays CNN Newsroom, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said that Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson and USS Theodore Roosevelt Commanding Officer Captain Brett Crozier are examples of people the Trump administration fired for speaking the truth.
Schumer said, Theres all too familiar a pattern in this administration, when you tell the president the truth, you get fired. This guy was a patriot. This guy stood for our intelligence agencies have done such a wonderful job.
And by politicizing it, dismantling it, not wanting to hear the truth, thats since World War II, we have built up this fine, fine agency. And the president is undermining it. When you speak truth to power in this country, Fredricka, when you speak truth to power, you should be a hero. But in this administration, when you speak truth to power, all too often, you get fired. Ask the captain of the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt, ask Col. Vindman, ask other people.

And when people talk to you schmuckie, some of them are speaking truth to asshole traitor
“Who put the crew ashore in a foreign country amid the pandemic?”
Good question, one that certainly no journalist is asking.
This is one of those silly phrases that means absolutely nothing.
“Speaking Truth to Power”
IOW, propagating malicious gossip to a lynch mob.
Its jib bearish, like everything rooted in Marxism.
How many have died, Chuckie, due to the whole impeachment circus when we should have been preparing for this epidemic?
Chuckie, ask yourself that one question every single time you even THINK about opening your mouth.
He was fired for being an insubordinate moron who also put his fleet at risk.
Instead of doing that, he whined, and apparently got himself infected in the process.
Whining is one thing, but sending classified information over unsecured lines will get you.
Unless you are a Dem politician.
Who put the crew ashore in a foreign country amid the pandemic?
Where do you think the ship is?
our intelligence agencies have done such a wonderful job.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When was that?
When they missed the collapse of the Soviet Union?
When they missed 9/11?
When they assured us Saddam had WMDs?
(Expel that turd forcefully.)
Was Inspector General Michael Atkinson the official who arranged for the whistleblower form to be modified? The original document stated in BOLD letters that the information stipulated had to be from first hand sources. The modified form omitted that requirement and allowed for rumors to stand in for reliable testimony.
If Atkinson wasn’t the one responsible for this change in the form, then that party should be hunted down and fired, as well.
You nailed it. Just about every commander in the military is going through this now. They are finding solutions to protect their men and women, and sharing these solutions with HQ. They are not publicly complaining and begging for HQ to come and fix the problem. They are commanders because they are expected to see, think, analyze and respond as leaders.
I'll add: And, mix with your constituents. Take a deep breath!
Chuck is big into the Military?
Schumer’s a dick.
Not possible allowed his message to get out. He CC’ed 22 other people outside his chain. And he didn’t send it encrypted.
He also had no discussions with the admiral of his group, right there on his ship.
This tool had no business running a carrier. And also, just look at his official photo. Grinning like an idiot. Compare that to photos of Mitscher, Nimitz, Badger, Halsey, Kinkaid, King. They all look half pissed off and annoyed in almost every photo you see.
I don’t care about Atkinson, but what were the specific legal issues with the captain?
SCHUMER will always be a first class scumbag
