A man in Germany has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after allegedly loosening bolts on a high-speed railway track. The stretch of track affected was just before a bridge outside Frankfurt.
A train driver noticed "something unusual" while crossing the bridge early on Friday. Several trains had already passed over the section before the issue was discovered. Rail operator Deutsche Bahn described the incident as "sabotage". . . .
According to German news site Der Spiegel, the rails were five centimetres further apart than usual. This could have caused trains to derail and even send them plunging off the bridge.

I was afraid of an increase of general sabotage by the enemies of the various nations in which they have been allowed to inhabit.
Too bad Germany does not have a death penalty.

A man? That’s the only description? I wonder if his name is Heinrich, Adolf, Herman? Or maybe it is Mohammed? (Sorry about all the Nazi names, they’re the only German names I could think of.)

Well, that’s good to know. Because I was thinking the man loosened the bolts because he thought that they were on too tight.
Ok, I’m guessing he’s not “German”.
There are many ways to punish people.
The Germans COULD sent those slack-jawed aholes on a one-way plane ride to Bangladesh, Cuba, anywhere south of our border, any place in Africa, or anywhere else in Asia.
There is always Sippenhaft or Sippenhaftung-- kin liability, a German term for the idea that a family or clan shares the responsibility for a crime or act committed by one of its members, justifying collective punishment.
So AHOLE'S family could be punished. Interesting idea.

That isn’t just loosening some bolts to achieve that amount of road spread.

That narrows it down.
Exactly, and you just can’t use an ordinary wrench, those bolts are welded on.
It couldn’t be Hogan, Newkirk, Carter, Kinch, or LeBeau.
Probably not, but I am wondering if the German authorities have ruled out terrorism yet? They usually do that, rather quickly. 👎
