I agree. But there had already been one bombing at the World Trade Center. We knew how big a threat bin Laden was, and (Clinton) failed to take him it.
You were right, a couple of weeks ago, when you gave us warning of how bad things were in Italy.
My skepticism at that time, specifically about the state of medical care in Italy, was clearly off the mark.
I never cared about credit or being right, every time, ever.
We are all in this together, starting tonight.
Gotta love socialism. Let the government control health care.
Actually a plant in Morgantown, WV is already preparing to start production.
The news says that the plant in Morgantown will be producing HCQ this week.
FL has sent a lot of needed supplies to new York
One area has made parts for respirators with a 3D printer.
That graphic, and a camera, should be in every classroom in America.
Jim feels the same way.
Back in the day when just about all talk show hosts and even news outlets watched FR 24/7 to get the best fasted news.
I mentioned to Jim that they didn’t credit FR
He wisely said that it doesn’t matter, what matters is that it gets out there.
Old ppl are useless eaters in China and other socialist/commie states.
And to the deep state, here too.
Are we sure this guy isn't an NHS doctor from the UK's socialized medical system? He sure sounds like it!
Good point.
By the way, you don’t come across at all as caring about getting credit.
Give them the malaria drugs at least.
Plaqenuil, and antibiotic azithromycin (aka Zithromax or Azithrocin) could be especially effective in treating the COVID-19 coronavirus and reducing the duration of the virus in patients.
In countries with a gubmint run system, or a mixed system, like Kanadahar, 'cash' and or 'power' ALSO hold sway. Are the waiting times here, longer at hospitals for more complex procedures than for those with insurance in the US? Yes. In addition, there seems to be a lot more 'treating the syptom' than digging for the cause and treating it. Part of that has to do with cost, but part of it has to do with how doctors BILL THE GUBMINT.
In the end, in times of scarce resources and something that could overwhelm the system, BOTH SYSTEMS WILL MAKE VALUE JUDGEMENTS ON WHO GETS TREATED, based upon survivability of the patient, available resources and, or course, their 'percieved importance' or 'power' or 'CASH'.
In times like we are in, THAT allocation of scarce resources becomes evident. Before I get jumped on by some on this website for being one of 'them thar communists', I like the American system since it tends to fix the 'problem' rather than just fix the 'symptom' AND for most ailments, it tends to be MUCH quicker than the Canadian system. That said, I also prefer the American system where a doctor can (generally) choose NOT TO KILL AN UNBORN CHILD! A doctor in Kanadahar has no such choice! The murder of one's unborn child is a RIGHT in Kanadahar! Our leaders like to spit in God's face. How pathetic and how sad!
Well hell Italy, just shoot them and get it over with. This is what happens with socialized medicine. The old and infirmed, the disabled, go without care. No need to waste money on those not paying a lot of taxes, who are just getting pension checks from the government till.
Voter registration cards probably.
I am not in any way confused and I don’t need you to educate me on the flu. I am well aware that the Hong Kong flu was not the everyday version but I went through three days of absolute hell, it was like living in a horror movie that began on Friday night and lasted until Tuesday morning. No one who lived through that would ever say, “it’s just the flu.” I ran a fever that reached one hundred and FIVE degrees and had terrifying hallucinations and pain from head to toe that was an eleven on a scale of one to ten. There is no way to overstate how bad an experience this was. In 2017 I suffered a compression fracture of my first lumbar vertebra, a fractured toe and multiple other injuries in a fall, I was 72 years old then and I rose to my feet within two minutes unassisted and walked 100 yards to my home, I rode as a passenger in my own car for two hours, was xrayed at the emergency room and was released with no treatment other than cleaning my bloody scrapes and taping my busted toe to the one next to it and went home, another two hour ride. I took two pills for pain in the first 24 hours and then no more, compared to the Hong Kong flu that was a walk in the park.
socialized medicine is a failure
As a youngster, I was raised by my grandparents. About the winter of 1957-’58 We all got the flu. I was a kid, about 8 years old.I well remember having fever so bad I hallucinated.Even at that young age, I thought I was going to die. Yes, to all those who think it’s just a bad case of the flu, I wonder if they know how bad the flu can get? I can easily stay in my house, self quarantined for however long it takes to NOT get that sick again...
