I'm actually someone who is worried and thinks it's better to be safe than sorry. But, why are so many of y'all on both sides of this situation using so much of your time to go after one another? It's like the most important thing to both of y'all seems to be insults & having a verbal pi×sing match! Why? I have a husband who comes at it from the "this is all overblown, it's not as bad as the media makes it out to be, stop being a bunch of safety nancys". I tell him, it's annoying to listen to because he's burying his head in the sand just to make a point. You are just as bad from the other side. You seem to take joy in trolling people & throwing verbal bombs instead of just saying "I personally think it's better to be safe than sorry. I don't know if it's as bad as the media is making it out to be, but I think it's dangerous & we need to act". Both sides are royally P×ssing me off! 🙄

This isn’t a libertarian conservative vs authoritarian scenario where anybody is asking you to hand over your freedoms because they think you aren’t entitled to them. To me, this draws on the other part of conservatism that believes in God & family & community & pulling together to fight off something bad. Is asking people to hunker down for a short time, bring all hands on deck, domestically produce some of the supplies we need in this emergency & try & protect the fragile & most at risk such a hard thing to do?

I totally agree with you. I know the media are overhauling this & attempting to scare people. They want nothing more than to bludgeon Trump with something & damage the economy. I'm suspicious.That's why I said I'm in the center on this one. I'm not completely on either side. I know this isn't an apocalypse. I also know it's something dangerous & deadly to many. I think we need to take the threat seriously, social distance, flatten the curve, produce some chloroquinone & ventilators & pull back from large gatherings temporarily; while at the same time staying calm & positive, not buying into the media's Trump narrative, not cleaning out store shelves of food & basic supplies, not killing off our economy & national well-being. I guess I just feel it's possible to find a middle ground because that's where I'm at on this 😉

Hi Doughty...I’m over 60 and if I get sick i’d hate to be denied because of age.

BUT on the other hand I would NOT want a young person in dire need to go untreated so I could be cared for.

I’m in good standing with God so I will be OK whatever comes.

The primary difference between ‘just the flu’ and The Great Chinese Plague is: the former is an upper respiratory disease that seldom needs ventilators, while the later is a lower respiratory disease like pneumonia which often needs ventilators.

That explains the ‘shortage’ which really isn’t a shortage, except in context with this plague.

The Bolshevik Jews were always in favor of euthanizing the elderly in Russia back in the day. Now they kill millions of the unborn and off as many old folks as they can get away with.
