Maybe you can do like Hillary did and put $1000 down on a stock and turn that into $100,000 overnight.

So, at $200,000/year I wouldn’t get one. Unemployed wife? 19 year-old kid at home making $30,000/year?

I will put the money to the side to pay back when I file taxes, since I earn to much money to qualify for it. I hear they are sending money to everybody. If you do not qualify you pay it back on taxes in the following year.

How do they calculate the “under $75K” figure — head of household? I suppose the info is posted somewhere.

Agreed. I’m giving whatever they give me....to Trump’s re-election campaign.
(just have to make sure the wife doesn’t know anything about this decision)

Since I make over the maximum, I will not receive it.
Same. Business as usual though. Last time I saw someone checking out of Walmart on EBT, buying things I wouldn’t splurge on, I told them “You’re welcome.”

Probably will be the same for us if it’s determined by our 2018 tax return (we haven’t filed yet for 2019) But the wife retired Jan. of 2019 and now we are below the threshold. Either way we don’t need it or really want it. It will probably be taxable income anyway.

Pay down mortgage
-—————————————Same. It’s what we’re doing now by working AND collecting SS. without this, we’d have it paid down by year’s end. If they actually do this, I’m quitting my job and doing it with that. It would eliminate a 3 hour commute and 159 miles a day. And it would change my income tax situation substantially.
i.e. it incentivizes me to retire a few months early.

Be careful of the women you are chasing there dude. You might get one that looks and smells like Hillary. Most of the streetwalkers probably do smell like her.
