I wonder how it’s still spreading so easily despite the lockdown.
People were coming down with it before the lockdown.
Until the end of next week, most people ill, or even dying now since it progresses more rapidly in those most susceptible, could have had it for several weeks and only started showing symptoms a week ago. Restrictions were only in some areas at first, not nation wide. No telling when and where those now very ill were exposed.
When the victims were exposed isn't being reported much. When they die is.

You can look at any googled nation graphed.
A lockdown doesn’t end the ChiCom Virus. It slows the spread.
Plenty of incubators and spreaders are active until completed weeks later.
A 60% lockdown compliance rate usually doesn’t stop a pandemic very well. That’s what they are reporting in Italy.
Incubation can be longer than 14 days, people in apartment buildings infecting each other by shared air...
The lockdown’s effectiveness won’t be known for 2-3 weeks from the time it started, given the incubation period and time the diseases can persist.
It spread before the lockdown. You got one to two weeks with no symptoms, during which you can spread the virus
Is it in the environment somehow?
I wonder how its still spreading so easily despite the lockdown.

A-symptomatic carriers.
That’s why people should stay home and only go out for essential tasks, masked up and hygenic.
It is very contagious. Many more times contagious than flu.
As of a couple days ago, new cases started flattening, meaning spread may have peaked. Deaths would be a lagging number as it takes time for the disease to kill the person. We would likely see more days like this and then as new cases drop (hopefully) the number dead would start deceasing.
