Gov. Phil Murphy has tumor on kidney, likely cancer

Gov. Phil Murphy disclosed Saturday he has a tumor on his kidney that is 90 percent likely to be cancerous and will soon undergo surgery.

Murphy, 62, told NJ Advance Media that doctors caught it at an early stage and have “complete confidence” they’ll be able to fully remove the tumor. He said he does not expect he’ll have to undergo chemotherapy or radiation treatment.

“The expectation is that overwhelmingly, assuming nothing happens on the operating table or you don’t get an infection or something, you’re back on your feet and back in the game without any impairment going forward,” Murphy said during an interview at his Middletown home alongside First Lady Tammy Murphy.

While 90 percent of such tumors are malignant, doctors won’t know if it is renal cell carcinoma until after the surgery, Murphy’s office said. They said it is stage T1A, which according to the medical website Cancer.Net, is “where the tumor is found only in the kidney" and is 4 centimeters or smaller "at its largest area.”

I disagree with the governor on politics.

But I wish him and his family well.

Why? When his politics is murder of the unborn and destroying America and corrupting our youth?

Why do you hope he does well?

To continue to do it?

Is that what you would wish your enemy on the battlefield?

The “he does well”?

Maybe too many wish rbg well and that’s why she pulled through.

The days of george will types gentlemanly losing are over. I hope.

Dont care if he lives or dies. I DO KNOW it will be less painful than being torn apart in the womb

Probably not at all serious.

On the contrary.

Cancerous growths take on the characteristics of the point of origin.

If the cancer originated in the kidney it, like the kidney itself, will be densely packed with blood vessels and therefore presenting a high likelihood of severe hemorrhaging during surgery.

Cancer is always serious; some more dangerous than others, but always serious. I also had kidney cancer three years ago. It was removed using the DaVinci Robot (check it on Google). It was complex because of all the blood vessels in the area. I had 6 small little holes in my abdomen which healed quickly. I was in the hospital for 3 days and doctors gave me 90-95% survival rate.

Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, both yours and mine.

Maybe when you have your own run-in with cancer, like I have, you might feel differently.

The state is now a lost cause. It really isn’t a state anymore but a colonized province ruled by Trenton. The typical NJ voter is mentally retarded and the media pushes the garbage. The carpet bagging POS Smurphy can FOAD for all I care. The other sickening side effect is that the NJ slime who go to other states are turning other states into NJ. Lots of NJ plates in N.C. I was told. They all predominately vote the same way they did in NJ. It is is sickening cycle.

“...he is totally anti-2Amendment. ...”

Which means HE doesn’t care whether WE live or die, because he wants to make sure we are unable to defend ourselves and our families.

“...We’re at war....”

We certainly are, brother. About time people realize it.

There’s a few of us conservatives here but you’re right. NJ is circling the drain. But the wife and I are too old and not in the best of health to move out.

I’ve have had family members who survived cancer. Should I ever be diagnosed with it I sure as hell wouldn’t want any sympathy from Phil Murphy. I hate this bastard of a governor who is destroying my state and cares more for illegals aliens than he does for the taxpaying, hard working residents of New Jersey. I hope he dies, slowly and painfully. The time for being civil with the Left is over. They hate conservatives and everything we stand for.The Democrats Antifa goon squads have literally been attacking and injuring Trump supporters and assholes like Murphy haven’t said a damn thing about it. Time they were paid back in their own coin.

He said he does not expect he’ll have to undergo chemotherapy or radiation treatment.

That is because there is no effective chemotherapy or radiation treatment for kidney cancer. It is surgery or death.

If it is caught early enough, the surgical removal of the tumor has a very good success rate with a 20-year survival expectation. Nowadays, they can often save the kidney too.

I hope the psychopathic leftist dies, quickly, but dies. He has got to be one of the worst political figures to come out of N.J. (including the Mafia leaders), in about 50 years or so.

He is an “enemy of the people”, the “American people” and the sooner he’s gone from the scene, the better and safer our country will be.

I have no tolerance for the traitors of the Left, but they psychos (Schiff and his buttboy Swallowswell), hardcore reds (Bernie Sanders, Maxine Waters, opportunists reds (Liz Warren, Pete Buttigieg), or just plain criminal politicians (Hillary, Pelosi, Schumer, Durbin, Feinstein, Blumenthal, Whitehouse, etc).

Because these people and the Democrat Party represent an “existential threat” to America’s freedom, in their case, “Dead is Good; Alive is Dangerous”.

They don’t call me the Grinning Reaper for nothing. My life’s motto is “Keep better files, out-live your enemies, and piss on their graves”. A traitor is a traitor be it for ideological reasons, financial gain or fame, or because they are mentally ill (which sums up the Democrats to a tee, if I say so myself - been around them long enough to know who is what and dangerous).

That is what I am thinking. Just playing to the ignorant masses to garner sympathy votes in his up coming re-election.

I know that sounds horrible, but dems deserve nothing less than light on the darkness.

Interesting discussion.

Here's sort of a rhetorical question:

If Hitler were alive today, and it came out that he had Parkinson's, would there be "prayers for his health"?
