Attorney General William Barr has told people close to him he’s considering quitting over President Trump's tweets about Justice Department cases, an administration official says.

Ummmm... Barr was Trump’s pick. Trump can fire him at any time. Why would I have to vote for someone else if I think Trump tweeting isn’t helpful? And who is “we”?
I saw this coming from a mile away. Trump is sticking his finger in Barr’s eye in regards to the Twitter comments.
The guy already whined about it and is obviously looking for a reason to cut and run at this point.
I think it sucks because this was the only chance of having somebody who seemed like they would hold the deep State accountable. I guess he’s just one of them after all.
Nobody is in jail.

FYI Barr was intimately involved in the Iran Contra scandal. When a large sum of money went missing, Barr was charged with investigating who was skimming the drug money. Barr narrowed it down to Clinton, Barry Searles, and/or Noriega. Searles was eliminated ( as in killed) almost immediately, Clinton was spared for future use, and Noriega was extradited to this country. To prosecute Noriega on phony charges, the CIA called in “the mule,” aka Robert Mueller. And so began a long and profitable friendship.

Barr was confirmed 54-45 with 3 Dems voting for him-Manchin, Jones and Sinema- and one Rep against him, Rand Paul. The Dems never wanted him as AG from the very beginning.
