.
.
.
“Do you not believe that the governments of Detroit and Puerto Rico also play a vital role that should be preserved even if a financial crisis makes it hard for them to borrow money?” she added.

She is as disgusting to look at as she is to listen to. She has a 0 watt brain, but her hateful brainwashed center is turned up on high. It’s the only thing remotely resembling a brain in her. Let her drop dead, wouldn’t bother me a bit.

Yep, hard assets...I don’t see a way out of debt monetization/inflation/currency devaluation now...even PDJT cannot come close to a proposed balanced budget. You might also want to consider some cryptocurrency, real estate, TP, antibiotics and booze too! ;-)

These are not people with whom we disagree, so it's pointless to argue agains the policies they espouse. The are conscious con artists.

We should be outing them as con artists who are insincere rather than making cases against arguments with which they don't even agree.

I'm not saying we are in concert with them, I'm saying they are arguing with us in the back of the store while their partners in crime are robbing the cash registers. Their philosophy is not the point, it's just a distraction.

News Flash: Bernie does not believe what he claims to believe.

Beyond the principle of whether the Federal Government should get involved in local goverment bailouts, is the more important principle of; do the opposite of whatever that vicious anti-Semite wants until she’s voted out!

Why discriminate? They bailed out Wall Street, a few European banks and a few Mega Insurance companies back in 2007. Remember, the Treasury Secretary said the sky was falling after the banksters had emptied the tills and filled their own pockets. I still wonder how much money President G W Bush was paid personally for approving that taxpayer funded bailout. The folks that lost their homes and small businesses never got a damned dime of that bailout money.

Watch the movie The Big Short, it really tells the story pretty well.

I am normally against the wearing of Arabic muslim dress in Western countries, but in this case, I believe that a niqab would be welcome.

I would suggest that she go back home from whence she came, but she came from Detroit.

TP will be gold if the SHTF. As will all other basics.

If there was a cheap and easy way to store cigarettes for years, I would by a bunch of cartons and stash them. Health concerns aside, when you have anarchy no one gives a damn about the long term health effects of tobacco. And those that want it, want it dearly.

I have a case of cheap bath soap bars stashed in my attic along with a 6 months supply of TP and paper towels. Also stashed are matches and cheap butane lighters.

Here’s one no one seems to think about. Aluminum foil. An incredibly useful and versatile item that can never degrade in storage. Buy enough to last you 10 years. Unless you die, you will use it. If you die, well, who cares.

No matter what you stash, if it is worth anything you will have to defend it. You know what that means you have to also store?

Good idea on the aluminum foil...aluminum is almost up there with the other “investment metals” like copper, platinum. Costs a lot to produce (electricity).

What I and everyone else knows is that this bankruptcy and hardship is the direct result of the democrats being in long term and complete control and running things directly into the ground.

Now the democrats want everyone else to bail them out because they screwed everything up so badly.

Not only no, but hell no until you can step up and admit that this was caused by democrats and only democrats, and the liberal policies they enacted and followed.

If the democrats can not be truthful and honest about how they descended into insolvency then they will just repeat the same process with any new funding they get.
