Marine Le Pen: Brexit is a ‘Terrifying Failure’ For the European Union

Marine Le Pen, the president of the French populist right-wing party Rassemblement National (National Rally), congratulated the United Kingdom for regaining its “freedom” but went on to say that Brexit was a “terrifying failure” for the European Union.

“After multiple twist and turns, the UK has finally regained its freedom. But this is a terrifying failure for the EU”, said Ms Le Pen.

“We will no doubt see, over the coming months and years, that the UK did the right thing and will probably benefit a great deal. In fact, I have already noticed that the disaster-mongering has already given way to cautious warnings from those who were sure the British people would be ruined, there would be massive unemployment…” she added, according to the Brussels Times.

I always find it hilarious when people who have sunk so low morally and ethically that the concept of ending an invasion of Muslim Murderers and rapists doesn’t enter into their minds as a driving factor in politics are also irrecoverably stupid that they try to lecture other people and explain that comparative national economics is the important factor.

Leave the EU and they could reassert control over their borders and put their own people back to work.”

A very good summation of the situation. The PIGS are teenage girls with a credit card they are abusing that is paid by dad. Every time he threatens to cut up the card, they stomp their feet, and tell dad they will move out if he does. Dad is an idiot and continues to pay the bills.

The idea that Europe needed a nanny mechanism to change the cultures of once proud nations was idiotic from the start. A monetary union and free trading block is one thing, a nanny state trying to homogenize once proud cultures is totalitarianism run rampant.

Of curse the EU fanatics are cast in the same mold as the "never Trumpers," here.

You preempted part of my question:

What 3 counties will become #2, #3, #4 to leave the quagmire, the EU!

What’s interesting is some of the original ideas about a European union came from this guy.

Thanks for posting this. Easy to remember: PIGS!

“England is a productive nation. Italy is one of the PIGS — Portugal, Italy, Greece, and Spain. The PIGS are welfare states relying on the productive northern European states for their support.”

>>England is a productive nation. Italy is one of the PIGS — Portugal, Italy, Greece, and Spain. The PIGS are welfare states relying on the productive northern European states for their support.

Keep in mind that those countries, the entirety of Latin America, the Philippines have their cultural roots in the Spanish Empire of the conquistadores. A deeper investigation will conclude that Spain, Portugal, Greece and Italy were all dominated for centuries by Islam, their cultural ethics and value system are basically Muslim. This is why they are chronically corrupt and underperforming. The same could be said for remnants of the Western aristocracy and the industrial oligarchy. This is the mindset of SCARCITY.

The profit that some make by betraying their neighbors & their heritage is one of the sad aspects of these efforts to homogenize mankind. But in my opinion, the enabling factor in the surrender of centuries of achievement, is the politically “correct” insanity that pollutes & corrupts “higher education” in the Western world.

Northern 1/2 of Italy are great innovators and manufacturers. Yes they would do well if not for the Southern burden.

True. Northern Italy has a large number of small to medium size manufacturing businesses, many of which are multi-generational family concerns. There's a lot of "Off the Books" economic activity in Italy so their GDP numbers may not be exactly kosher.

That's because the EU was a stupid idea to begin with.

Would Italy be able to support themselves?

If they had their own currency, they cold inflate the beJesus out of it, like in the old days.

Nah, there have been lots of failures of the EU project that they’ve had to acknowledge - some of these being
> the partial failure of the euro - it works well enough for the Benelux + Germany countries but adding Greece and Portugal when they fudged their numbers was correct. This was apparent in 2014.

> the failure of forcing Hungary to follow French standards

> the failure of trying to get Poland to not let parliament appoint judges.

What you quoted is John Campbell’s opinion of what she thought.

Maggie didn’t say that - it’s in his own opinion stringing together pieces.

She may have believed it or not - we have no indication. We have Campbell’s statement of what he thought she believed with no further proof.
