Swiss Air Lines has cut ties with chocolate manufacturer Läderach following left-wing protests of the owner’s membership in a pro-life, pro-family Christian group.

Despite Swiss Air’s ten-year affiliation with Läderach, the airline dropped the chocolatier after protests and extensive vandalism by left-wing activists, homosexuals, and young socialists, according to a report by LifeSite News.

Jürg Läderach, who owns the high-end chocolate company, is also the president of “Christianity for Today” (CFT), a Swiss evangelical organization

Last fall, activists attacked a Läderach store in Basel, Switzerland, using Butyric acid, forcing the store to close for two days. This assault was just one instance of vandalism against the chocolatier, which reportedly took place at seven different stores.

According to the Swiss news magazine Beobachter, negative press surrounding Läderach for its pro-life and pro-family positions was “clearly too much for the airline, which has many gay crew members.”

Swiss Air has thus confirmed that they are truly "homophobic," since their actions are at least partially driven by fear of homosexuals, that of activists who demand economic sanctions (at least) be placed upon any who will not salute the flag of Sodom, so to speak.

I pray some major businesses will say enough is enough, but without Christian convictions that is unlikely. But true evangelical Christians should not be intimidated by the psychological tactic of being called homophobic, and instead show charity and give them the gospel, while honestly contending against the denial of the sins that is promoted by such.
