I have a bad feeling about this week. They *didn’t* close out the damn impeachment trial before the State of the Union, and still have Wednesday to gum up the works.
Why, oh why, do I feel that the Dems are going to take something completely out of context during the SOTU, and on Wednesday present it as “new stunning evidence that must..MUST!... be investigated?” After which Pierre Delecto and his Singing RINO’s, Collins, Murkowski, and Alexander, will decide to go with the Dems, and delay the trial once again?
I hope my paranoia is running a bit on the goofy side, but one never can trust the people that mean to destroy us.

I don’t think you are being paranoid given all that has transpired already. I think that the Dems are hoping Pres. Trump gives some sort of arrogant-sounding victory lap-type speech. He won’t. He’ll play it safe and give a traditional SOTU speech. They will sit there with pouty childish nonverbals. They’ll probably find something wrong with his speech and will sound stupid criticizing it, maybe even to the point where a Doug Jones or Kristen Sinema votes against impeachment on Wednesday and gives serious thought to renouncing their party affiliation to save themselves the embarrassment of being associated with the likes of Schiff.
Or the Dems will just refuse to show up.

I just watched a video of Biden telling a guy to not vote for him. Biden put his hands on him and pushed him away. Then a little later Biden grabbed the guys vest and squeezed it together, just being aggressive. I got PO’d watching that. What a complete jerk! I honestly would have pushed Biden back and told him to keep his hands off me. Sick old man.

He never thought he would be called to task. In fact, half the country still believes Biden did no wrong.
I think Biden’s disastrous “no malarkey” bus tour was another nail in the coffin. Whatever happened with that, anyway?

The oldest VP to take office was Alben Barkley at 71 years old.
Trying to make/keep both Quid Pro and Cankles presentable is too much for one campaign.
They’re definitely going to dump Biden, because what this whole “impeachment” farce did was attract attention to Biden’s corruption. Lindsey Graham is going to have Judicial Committee hearings into the Biden Corruption Family, and after the “impeachment,” Biden is no longer useful to the Dems.

I think the DNC has settled on Bloomberg as Biden’s “moderate” replacement to prevent crazy Bernie from destroying Dems chances in upcoming congressional elections. That’s why he is getting a podium plus since he has his own campaign money they can use all their DNC funds on congressional elections

I tend to agree. Everybody says “Biden is finished”, but he’s led the rest of the pack for a very long time.
I think it comes down to two factors: “household name” and “regular fella”.
Your average Dem voter West of the Rockies never heard of any of these clowns except Biden and Bernie.
But Biden has a piece of the Obama legacy. To us it’s a negative legacy, but to the Dems it was a winner and so Biden rides Zero’s coattails as it were. And is name recognition is relatively high.
And I agree about the “gravitas” issue. Biden’s a regular fella whose reputation is “talking straight” and on an equal footing with the voter.
Sure, Biden lies like there’s no tomorrow, but to the Dem base, Biden is authentic and real.
Bernie has always been a communist weirdo except to his radical base. And he loses big on the “regular fella” score. Nobody can relate to Bernie. He’s not somebody you could have a beer with. He’s always unhinged and always crazy.
Biden is the “safe” choice for the Dems.
I think if Hillary tried to move back to Arkansas, she would be met at the airport by peasants with pitchforks demanding that she go back to New York. Can she establish residency in Arkansas if no one will sell or rent a house or apartment to her?
I think Biden’s supposed front-runner status has a lot to do with the media covering for him and with the strong support he has from black Democrats, mostly because he was Obama’s VP rather than anything he has done to benefit them...and because none of the other major candidates have connected with black voters so far.
