The thousands of people who descended upon the Jersey Shore town for President Donald Trump's 'Keep America Great' rally at the Wildwoods Convention Center left behind a sea of trash in the parking lot including their abandoned beach chairs and blankets after the rally wrapped up.
Rally-goers were allowed to bring chairs as they waited in line some for up to 48 hours before the event but they weren't allowed to bring them inside the venue.
Factor in the blankets they used to stay warm, and all their drinks and food they were snacking on during the long wait in the parking lot and the convention center ends up with a parking lot full of trash to deal with Wednesday morning.

It's dangerous to have a lot of foreign people into your culture rapidly.
As I say, "Don't mess with the culture!"
They need to learn what Trump people are like and how we behave.
The campaign needs to have dump trucks on site and people can either toss their stuff or put it in pages to be collected later.
This is an excellent idea.
Along with that, maybe enlist some charities to do clean up after the event and also perhaps tag items and give matching number tickets so people can go to some designated spot later and claim them.
Donation boxes could be set up in the venue and people asked to donate to the groups who will be cleaning up after them.
I get why for security reasons that security might not want them many dumpsters and garbage cans around while so many people are round, but they may allow screened groups of people into the area vacated by those in the convention center to start the clean up.
Sorry, but I'm not in control of them. 26% of them were demoncRats. Another 10%, perhaps more, were not registered to vote.
I don't approve of leaving a mess. Now, did the facility provide enough trash receptacles for people to put their stuff in the trash? When I see stuff in piles on the ground, it makes me wonder if they did.
Been to a rally? When the Line starts moving you have to abandon all the stuff you have because word spreads through the crowd and everybody realizes they cant bring anything inside. It gets stacked in piles, not strewn everywhere.
Not typical conservatives. Maybe littering is an east coast thing?
Jersey shore is trashy
Watch the show. Its close to reality
That looks much more like the aftermath of a typical lefty event. Conservatives almost always clean up after themselves.
Then again, they were in a predicament not being able to bring the chairs inside. As for the trash, no excuse for that. Bet most who left that mess were recent democrats.
Seriously. You can't go a few hours without eating? And for those of you camping overnight. WHY?
Let’s not be so quick to condemn. Even Snopes is saying the photos are misleading.
As others here have pointed out, the people were told they had to leave their chairs and things, and Secret Service limited the number of trash cans. After the rally, the people were not allowed to retrieve their things.
Here’s the place nice and clean again:

By the way, in that NJ county, the majority of voters are Republican.
In Cinci, they had a few plastic trash cans around, but not many. It was a really hot day, and they soon overflowed with empty water bottles.
Big security risk, I am sure.
Solid idea.
Looks like a wal mart parking lot.
"...Let's not be so quick to condemn..."
The rallies my wife and I went to have been super clean.
Maybe it was from the Democrats attending?
I have been to a rally and we couldn’t even bring in a bottle of water we bought while waiting on line.
The venues need to step up on providing trash cans and/or dumpsters. Maybe a charity, like the Salvation Army, could bring a truck to the site and collect the tents, chairs and blankets that had to be abandoned.
Do you think we’re all Democrats here in Jersey?
The promoters might have thought to put a few thirty yard dumpsters in the area.
It was not like this after the rally in Mesa last time... When we came out all the chairs and large items were sitting out in front of the doors and there was tables full of everything they confiscated at the door... 3 or 4 tables that were full of lighters!
