Hmm, I wonder why many of us wanted a straight up or down vote on recognition of the Articles of Impeachment to begin with.
There’s no justifiable grounds for impeachment, but here we are anyway acting as if there were.

Pubs bend over backwards to show fairness to the Democrats after the Democrats show NONE to Trump or the Republicans. Just makes me sick.
I don’t think McConnell has anything to do with it. You can count on the Republican pussies who waver each and every time to give up.
What I find amazing is that the Democrats can even keep the Dems who are in Trump districts, i.e. Manchin, on-board. Says something about character and leadership.
Trump will get re-elected. Many GOP Senators will not.
This will not motivate many GOP voters to crawl over glass
to vote for them. We will crawl over glass to vote for Trump.

And as soon as the first witnesses are called, and Trump’s preferred will be blocked, the next “bombshell” will fall starting the next call to extend. This is exactly what got Trump elected in the first place, spineless republicans who can’t stand up to the Democrats. What a bunch of losers.
Too bad the Space Shuttle program has been grounded. McConnell can’t bribe Senators with rides into space. Am I right, John Glenn? Up high! Errrrr....down low?
BS! They want some democrats to vote against witnesses too so it is bipartisan.
The first order of business may be for President Trump to tell McConnell that he’ll be giving the State of the Union address at a rally in Michigan or Wisconsin instead of in Congress if this trial isn’t over before next Tuesday.
Good.
There is no upside for the Democrats on this.
More chances to kick the Bidens.
The longer this drags out the larger Trump’s margin of victory will be in November.
