Protesters in Puerto Rico called for Gov. Wanda Vazquez to resign Monday after stores of relief supplies were found unused in a locked warehouse over the weekend as the island reels from a powerful earthquake.

Dozens gathered outside La Fortaleza, Puerto Rico’s governor’s mansion, banging on frying pans, denouncing Vazquez and holding signs with messages including “Government, Absent, Criminal, Negligent.”

“I have never come out to protest but this caused me so much anger and indignation,” protester Rubi Oliveras told El Vocero newspaper. “How is it possible that you say you care about the country and yet you let so many people die while hiding these supplies?”

I remember, soon after that hurricane departed, there was some type worker strike by the docks. All the food we sent was left to rot and was tossed.

They should look into Mayor Loudmouths’ bank account after the hurricane to see if she was receiving kickbacks.

I doubt if supplies were hidden. It’s incompetence. Especially when he left is in charge. Reminds me of the Ms. Gov. during Katrina.

Yes, the strike was pushed by the Democrats so they could blame Trump for lousy aid distribution.

"I cannot fathom the thought that the greatest nation in the world cannot figure out the logistics for a small island of 100 miles by 35 miles," San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz said at the time. President Donald Trump was heavily criticized when he defended himself from Cruz's attacks. "Such poor leadership ability by the mayor of San Juan, and others in Puerto Rico, who are not able to get their workers to help. They want everything to be done for them when it should be a community effort," he said in 2017.

This dumb *bleep* needs to resign, too.

The politicians in Puerto Rico have been running a Ponzi Scheme for years.

Once they started down that criminal road, it became easier and easier for them to commit other criminal acts.

And it became easier for the citizens of Puerto Rico to ignore the crimes of their politicians.

Regarding the despicable news about supplies withheld in Puerto Rico: the central government of Puerto Rico may be incompetent and corrupt; our people are not. Just because you have a corrupt person leading the government it does not mean people have to suffer.— Carmen Yulín Cruz (@CarmenYulinCruz) January 20, 2020

That is nothing compared to the stuff they tossed in an open field on in the middle nowhere, some one got the tip off and flew a drone over it. Pretty much what got the last governor kicked out.

Playing politics with people’s lives so they can make the orange man look bad isn’t going to go well for the people who suffered through it.

Remember when Democrats blamed Trump for Puerto Rico?

Readers of TheBlaze may also remember that when Hurricane Maria struck in 2017, Democratic lawmakers were quick to blame the Trump administration for the island’s problems following the storm.

“I cannot fathom the thought that the greatest nation in the world cannot figure out the logistics for a small island of 100 miles by 35 miles,” San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz said at the time.

President Donald Trump was heavily criticized when he defended himself from Cruz’s attacks. “Such poor leadership ability by the mayor of San Juan, and others in Puerto Rico, who are not able to get their workers to help. They want everything to be done for them when it should be a community effort,” he said in 2017.

Criminals control the Democrat Party.

Would they hurt you and your family so they could continue to steal so they can have a Mercedes?

They would sell you into slaughter and slavery in a minute.
