Before Robyn Polak attended President Donald Trump's Jan. 14 rally in Milwaukee, she expressed her support for him on Facebook by posting a "MAGA 2020" comment on a news story about the visit.
She said that comment, and possibly a few others like it, got her fired from her job.
Polak, a South Milwaukee resident who was the only dental assistant at Precision Dental MKE, 6203 S. Howell Ave., said someone found out where she worked, went on her employers Facebook page and posted a negative review. The person did not recommend the dental office saying employees spouting [sic] racist comments on Facebook.
Polak said she didnt have any interactions with the person who posted the review but was told they had trolled others before.
Polak denied she was a racist, saying she has African American siblings and is partially Native American.
Im not racist, she said. But I am just kind of speechless about all this.
Company's response
The Precision Dental MKE account responded to the review.
I am so very sorry to have learned that this was posted. We are handling the situation in-house as we speak. I assure you that this office does not share those beliefs, the response said.
Polak said "handling it in-house" meant she got fired over the phone.

Well, she lost her job because someone made an objectively false statement about her (not an opinion, as in your example).
Lost job = lost wages = lawsuit.
Also, slander is a tort, and apparently an intentional tort, in this case. As a result, it is subject to exemplary damage claim to punish and prevent further wrongdoing.
Moreover, as an intentional tort, it would be non-dischargable in bankruptcy. So it would haunt the person forever, even if not collectible.
The problem is that companies want to avoid controversy. And the Left gets to decide what is controversial.
Problem solved.
This wouldn't happen at my Dentist's office. Years ago I was asked if I was the "Mike from North Caldwell" my dentist heard on Rush's show. I was; and that has led to many years of good political cheer whenever I show up there.

Social media claims another one.
On what grounds.
And he was exercising his rights as an employer in an at-will employment state. She has no grounds to sue.
I went to her FB page. She was using the N word in older post.
Dumb. People don’t know when to stop typing.
“She should have a very lucrative lawsuit coming from this”
I went to her FB page. She was using the N word in older post.
Idiot woman.
People who hate are not a protected class. This girl has no grounds to sue.
Doesn't make any difference what your seeing or I'm seeing. She ticked off her employer and it cost her. Next time she should think before speaking, think twice before Tweeting, and think three times before posting.
His websites have been set to private for a while. Hmmm.
Plus, Wisconsin is an at-will state. They can fire her for any reason or no reason at all.
We have one poster on FR whose tag line proudly proclaims, Fired ONE libtard at work at every election since 2008 because I enjoy them crying.
And people should have the right to go to the home of someone who maligned them with nasty lies, and beat them till they beg for mercy.
N Word? What? Novocain?
In fact, this accusation cost her her job, which means an actual financial injury and an injury to her reputation.
The person who made this false accusation needs to have their teeth knocked down their throat.
Well if that’s true, there goes her lawsuit.
I have to admit he's pretty ballsy. I would think that tagline could get him in a lot of trouble someday.
But I like the H3ll out of the guy. His posts are always entertaining.
