Top Democrats are signaling not-so-subtly that they are nervous as a forthcoming book from Peter Schweizer that will expose widespread corruption in the Democrat Party drops in just ten days.

The cover features photos of 2020 Democrat presidential frontrunners former Vice President Joe Biden, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), as well as fellow 2020 candidates Sens. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and Cory Booker (D-NJ), and former 2020 candidate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA).
Schweizer is a Breitbart News contributing editor and the president of the Government Accountability Institute (GAI). He has written multiple bestselling books exposing corruption in Washington.
While little is known publicly about the book thus far, Allen quotes Schweizer as saying he spent a year and a half investigating for it, and that it is “a sweeping, detailed look at how the leading figures of progressivism have leveraged the power of their positions.” Allen reported that the book features chapters on each of them, as well as Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH).
It has also been revealed that the book will expose the “Biden Five,” a group of Biden’s family members beyond son Hunter Biden who have siphoned tens of millions of dollars from taxpayers and from guaranteed loans. In an interview which aired Sunday on CBS’s “60 Minutes,” 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden defended his son’s dealings in Ukraine that led to him being appointed to the board of directors of Burisma Holdings despite having not having any experience in the energy sector nor knowing the Ukrainian language.
According to the former vice president, Hunter Biden “did not do a single thing wrong,” adding investigations back that up. “[Hunter] was already on the board, and he’s a grown man,” Biden outlined. “And it turns out he did not do a single thing wrong as everybody’s investigated.”

The Obama White House emphasized that vice president Biden's son's new job will have no influence on US foreign policy.
"Hunter Biden is a private citizen and a lawyer," a spokeswoman for VP Biden told the Wall Street Journal.
"VP Biden does not endorse any particular company and has no involvement with this company."
That's a dog bites man story, and there's no reason to limit it to progressives. Saying powerful politicians leverage their positions to make money shouldn't surprise anyone
The reality is almost all of this activity is legal. Schweizer's problem is he throws out a lot of innuendo but never brings it home.
I've heard him interviewed many times yet never heard him allege any criminal activity.
The Uranium One thing is a great example. He made it sound so dirty but if you listened closely he never said anything illegal happened. I looks like Huber is about to confirm it.
I'm not the least bit worried; it's all beyond my control. His treatment of the Epstein murder does, however, give a clear insight as to who Bob Barr is. Currently he's presiding over a criminal sanctuary city in DeeCee, while some oafs applaud his inaction for reasons beyond me.
I was under the impression that Free Republic was a conservative website and everyone thereon knew the reputation of Peter Schweizer and the credibility of his investigative work. I am clearly wrong. Most of the posters on this thread must be from the Biden Defense Fund publicity team.
Of course, these wags are the usual suspects who insists that the current Administration can and must overthrow the Deep State co-conspirators overnight. It took years to build the organized criminal syndicate that we face in Washington and it will take years to break it.
I almost wish the book's release could wait until we get deeper into the Dem primary season. Biden could nail down enough delegates to get the nom by super Tuesday. Then the book could throw the campaign into chaos.
Even so, I expect there will be plenty of Ukraine corruption revelations to last the summer.
