This is wrong. Impeachment occurs in the House. When the House passes the Articles of Impeachment then the government official is impeached. It is then left up to the Senate to decide on the punishment via a trial according to the Constitution.

For the Senate to try an Impeachment, an Impeachment must have occurred, which is the "sole power of the House of Representatives". Impeachment, via the Articles of Impeachment, is passed in the House of Representatives, not both bodies.

Per the US Constitution:

The House of Representatives shall choose their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment. (Article I, section 2)

The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments. When sitting for that Purpose, they shall be on Oath or Affirmation. When the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside: And no Person shall be convicted without the Concurrence of two-thirds of the Members present.

Judgment in Cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States: but the Party convicted shall nevertheless be liable and subject to Indictment, Trial, Judgment and Punishment, according to Law. (Article I, section 3)

The Sixth Amendment guarantees the rights of criminal defendants, including the right to a public trial without unnecessary delay, the right to a lawyer, the right to an impartial jury, and the right to know who your accusers are and the nature of the charges and evidence against you.

Indicting PDJT without sending the indictment to the senate, (court), as leverage to force the court to accept “YOUR” rules of court will not fly at the USSC.

Yes only an agreement. The real impeachment trial comes in the Senate. The House just gathers evidence to see if impeachment moves forward. Similar to a grand jury.

I agree with Rush on this one. If this isn't stopped in its tracks tout de suite, the Dems, their despicable RINO colluders, and the media will manage to drag it out until next fall. The polls may look positive now but 8-10 months is a lifetime in politics where anything can happen.
