President Trump is holding a rally in Battle Creek, Michigan, on Wednesday, the day the House is voting on impeachment. The House is debating two articles of impeachment one that accuses him of abuse of power over his dealings with Ukraine and another that says he obstructed Congress by defying subpoenas issued by the House in pursuit of its impeachment investigation.
Mr. Trump is the third president in U.S. history to face an impeachment vote by the House of Representatives. Two of the Democrats in the Michigan delegation who flipped seats held by Republicans in 2018 congresswomen Elissa Slotkin and Haley Stevens announced this week they'd vote "yes" on impeaching the president.
Slotkin represents the 8th Congressional District, which Mr. Trump won in 2016, while Stevens hails from the 11th District, which Hillary Clinton won.
Mr. Trump prevailed in Michigan in 2016 with the slimmest of margins, beating Clinton by just 10,704 votes, or 0.2%.

My wife has had a problem with migranes her entire life. Last year we replaced all of our bulbs with LED bulbs. Not only has our electric bill gone down considerably, but she has only had one migraine in the last year, and it was a relatively mild one.
Life is good. :)
Why would she withhold it? This seems to have been her ‘be-all, end-all’ since forever.
Not big on steak; but I lhrive on Diet Soda.
(They tell me it’s doing bad things to my brain, but I haven’t noticed that yet :-)
Twelve ways to Sunday!
Oh, poor thing; I hope he’s okay.
I've had migraines all of my life too and the "old" bulbs work well for me. It's the "new" ones and LED and fluorescent ones that set mine off.
He needed this Judy
The crowd was still with him till the end, albeit a bit tired
I’ve been asking about this stuff too, NP. I didn’t like the weird ‘glare’ and color from the early LEDs.
But a lot of people here have told me that there are many new versions of LEDs that might work for your needs. You have to experiment with the various ones.
I sometimes get what they call ‘ocular migraine’ from bright lights or flashing ones; but we now have numerous LEDs in our home, and they have never set it off.
They sell the current issue of the NY Post in supermarkets here in Maine. I’m surprised they get the current day’s issue so fast.
They also sell the current day’s issue of the Daily News and the New York Times. I wouldn’t want those two papers even if they were free.
Y’all take care of yourselves in the cold— look out for each other and keep warm beverages handy. We need your warm ROWDY votes! Be well, Patriots!
Amen. So wonderfully true. Be strong in HIS mighty power.
And keep your health, vitamins, warm beverages and smart Michiganers who dress warmly for the cold!!
I may not get a full blown migraine from the newer LEDs, but I do get the damned aura, which will make me virtually blind, for about 1/2 an hour. So no thanks to ALL new bulbs, for me.
You can actually get the NY Post in almost every state, now; on the same day! Its great when we go on vacations. But in the tri-state area, we get the full efition, unlike in other states and in color.
POTUS’ approval rating was up 6% since start of impeachment bs.
I wonder how high it will go, now, that they’ve pulled their stupid stunt.
OK. Does the Constitution stipulate the Articles Of impeachment MUST be hand delivered to the Senate with pomp and circumstance?
If not, the Senate should go ahead and open the formal trial, acquit the President, and be done with it.
If Nancy whines because she didn’t “give” it to them, McConnell should just say the House provided the Articles to everyone, including the Senate, when they were published.
