I agree that he needed this and I sure don’t blame him one bit. I like to listen to him, so I was fine....plus I can sit and enjoy a glass of wine lol. I did read that someone said people were starting to leave.
I was commenting more on when he’s doing more and more rallies, and two or more in one day, especially when it’s hot. I think it would be too much for both him and some of his supporters.
Dems who voted for impeachment consider themselves “moderate?” I think not.

Well, I don’t think they should have ‘outlawed’ the old bulbs. If the new ones were superior for all purposes, the market would have taken care of that by itself.
I keep the old ones where I want the ‘ambience’ they provide; and put the LEDs where I really need to SEE well :-)
I believe in a free market, so think that everyone should be allowed to buy and use the kind of light bulb that suits them! Forcing people like me, to ONLY be able to buy the ones that cause a very painful illness, is stupid, sick, and tyrannical!

We are having my Husband’s traditional ‘Italian American’ Christmas - the first time we’ve done his childhood family tradition.
Christmas Eve: Pizza, from the place here that is closest to what he grew up with (and of course, it’s never even close :-) And then we have to watch some movie version of ‘A Christmas Carol’.
Christmas Day: Noon meal of spaghetti with special Christmas Sauce (Sweet Italian Sausage, pepperoni, and minced beef.) Probably salad and garlic bread, to go with.
(I’m not sure if we will do the traditional evening meal of home-made veggie soup and hoagies. He grew up in a very big family, and we are a very small one, now.)

Family traditions are very important and I'm always happy to hear that others carry on their family's traditions too, no matter what they may be.
I have a very dear friend, who is of Italian heritage and they do the whole 7 fishes thing on Christmas Eve.
I posted about the ‘seven fishes’ on the cooking thread this month. People posted some interesting recipes.
As you know, I love old fashioned dishes! ;^)

The one I was able to attend...was cold ran....2000 people stod outside and didnt mind at all....Im not kidding..it was a Blast....there were Hot girls...drunk people famlys...religious...people ...all colors..talking laughing...it was Fantasic......Strange est thing?....I talked to a Lot of People....not One said they were republican.....Not one.
