Better we pray God has His way how this goes and ‘trust’ he’ll work it out for Trumps good and the good of the USA.

I’m not real comfortable about Trump testfying before anyone with a gavel in hand...better he wait and unload once it’s decided and he can say anything he wants.

Other than arresting the participants (Which IMHO he should have done years ago.) what can President Trump do?

"You can accuse our army of doing nothing but you would be wrong. "

It's also worth pointing out that only about a year later we unleashed the most powerful force known to man in the form of a weapon capable of decimating our enemies ten times over.

It was only by virtue of our benevolence and generosity that we didn't destroy them completely but instead accepted their unconditional surrender. We are a kind-hearted people but are not to be trifled with.

Because Democrats hate President Trump more than they value life, limb, sanity, Justice, FReedom, etc.

While the historical emphasis is on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, many other cities including Tokyo were actually obliterated. The economic and human damage in Tokyo exceeded that where the atom bombs were deployed.

The economic damage to American workers and to small towns all over the mid west caused by off shoring and globalism are worse than WWII carpet bombing.

Sorry to say Mr. Robinson that you may be staring into the abyss known as the "Potomac Two Step."

At this point most of the CULPRITS still believe there will be NO PAYBACK for what they've perpetrated and put the American public through.

Their procedure is to IGNORE... unless Barr and Durham are willing to make war in a very NASTY and DIRECT way.

Want to hear a REAL story?

On Saturday I went to my local Food Lion and by chance met a new check out clerk. Turns out she is a 50 YO college educated economic refugee from east Tennessee. Her mid sized town used to make cars, electronics and had a huge lithograph printing operation which are now all off shored. She had worked in a bank there in a supervisory role. She says the town is now a basket case. She left her house and stopped paying here mortgage, threw the keys in the door and slammed it shut, walked away because she couldn't sell it. Now she makes $10.00/hr at a Food Lion in central VA. Ain't globalism great?

Trade is in fact as you say, great.

I don’t know what city you are posting about but it was not able to compete, so the industry died. Capitalism is about competition

Socialism is about artificial industrial preservation.

So you don't believe her or me?

You wouldn't say what you posted to her face. You are a piece of dog sh!t.

Global capitalism is causing great social upheaval and that woman is going to vote. Do you think the ex-banker is socialist now? You betcha.

I’ve heard that. But the timing suggests that the atomic bombs did the trick. What do you think would have happened without “the bomb”? Would the outcome have been different or the same?

History says that the atom bombs convinced the emperor to over ride the military who were prepared to defend the homeland to the last person alive.

Meanwhile, in Tokyo, the emperor’s palace was about all that was left. The rest had been burned by continuous uncontested incendiary bombing by hundreds of B 29’s.

Absent the Atom Bomb the previously unbombed cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki would also have been burned away to nothingness.

We have no choice but to go with history. the tale has been told and accepted

"Global capitalism is causing great social upheaval and that woman is going to vote. "

That may be true but I don't think that woman is going to find a way to vote herself a better standard of living.

One billion Chinese and one billion Indians are on a path to greater use of technology and higher productivity. It's like a tsunami of higher productivity. Americans have benefitted for several generations from the backwardness of a great part of the world. Our good fortune in that regard is waning.

Politically, higher productivity people are going to have to choose between aligning themselves with high productivity people outside the U.S. or low productivity people within the U.S.

The former alignment might "raise all boats". The latter will create a version of "Atlas Shrugged" here in the U.S. I don't see an alternative.
