We the people need to know why the Trump impeachment case has not been tossed out now that the IG report has confirmed that the case is built on nothing but lies and initiated by corrupt FBI officials based on a phony dossier paid for by Hillary and the DNC, ie, known false evidence used by corrupt prosecutors to obtain FISA warrants.
Comey and Schiff have both admitted today that this is true. They knowingly brought a false prosecution before the people and it must be tossed.
The simple reason is this - There is no judicial oversight of the impeachment process until the Senate trial. They know they can convince some percentage of the populace that they were justified, and they know they are not in danger from the fallout (at least, the elected demtards know this).
Therefore, given that the end justifies any means, why would they admit fault?
If not hang, then as ‘our young Greta’ so aptly expressed: “these men (and women) need to be put up against the wall.”
And I still don’t think this will pass a house vote. Dems are running scared now - and they should be.
Because they didn’t base impeachment on the Russian collusion charges. They based it on the lie that the President cannot use any leverage on foreign countries or that making Congress adhere to the law is obstruction.
Seeing how I do not know the meaning of that phrase - care to help a fellow Freeper out?

As of now there is nothing oppose, although there is a very compelling record to oppose and to provide grounds for dismissal.
Second, never interfere when your enemy is in the process of making a big mistake.
It would be political malpractice to allow the Democrats to avoid going on record with a roll call impeachment vote.
Who has the authority currently, before they vote, to toss it out?
I believe the facts are the Democrats in power over the House of Representatives want to impeach PDJT at all costs. They want that *asterisk* meaning an impeached Republican President to appear in all future history books along with their names as the impeachers.
THEY, the Democrats, the Socialist/Democrats, the Globalists, whatever you want to call them were within a reachable distance of achieving over 100 years of sleight of hand, manipulation, skullduggery undermining our Constitution, and bringing forth a chaos they would then heroically extinguish to the joy, and satisfaction of all the people of the United States while setting about to curtail the influence of the power of liberty the United States was known for.
THEY were within reach of their established goals, and their balloon was popped. The rest is the nauseating circus of events since November 9, 2016, and will continue until they win, or their party is dissolved as the unconstitutional enemy of our nation that it is.
Currently they hold the power over the House of Representatives, and unless there is something I don’t know of in the Constitution governing rogue Congress they win until the people can rectify the problem at the next election.

When even Dem Congressmen (in New JERSEY!) are changing party affiliation over this, and even Dem Congresscritters in MINNESOTA are saying they'll vote "No" ...

It’s a coup not impeachment.
This whole procedure cannot simply be thrown out. Just consider all the political capital that went into the building of this case for impeachment by the Democrats.
If all this is just wasted effort, then it may be YEARS before the Democrats can rebuild their credibility again.

The discussion of Bill of Attainer by Cantor7 above is very interesting.
Since there little to no chance that DJT would have been convicted in the Senate and removed from office, one could logically conclude the only reason for impeachment by the House is to effect the 2020 election, by having that label attached to DJT.
So, in order to counter that, DJT and the Republicans must do anything and everything to get the indictment (impeachment charges) vacated and the impeachment label removed.
Question is, can DJT take the impeachment charges to the SCOTUS for a ruling of the constitutionality of the charges before it goes to the Senate?
As the Rats repeatedly chant: “High Crimes and Misdemeanors means anything that the House says it means”.

They’ve all been using the word “mistakes”, and the press is pushing it as well to make ‘light’ of their corruption and criminal acts and behavior.
They’re weak admissions are nothing more than additional cover now the truth is known.
