While the historical emphasis is on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, many other cities including Tokyo were actually obliterated. The economic and human damage in Tokyo exceeded that where the atom bombs were deployed.
The economic damage to American workers and to small towns all over the mid west caused by off shoring and globalism are worse than WWII carpet bombing.
Ive heard that. But the timing suggests that the atomic bombs did the trick. What do you think would have happened without the bomb? Would the outcome have been different or the same?
