A democratic socialistBernie Sandersis among the top contenders to be the next Democratic nominee for U.S. President. His rival and fellow Senator, Elizabeth Warren, is also among the top tier of candidates, declaring herself a capitalist who wishes to transform American capitalism as we know it, with a wealth tax, a Green New Deal and the elimination of private health insurance. A more centrist candidate, Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Ind., illustrated the shifting winds when he recently declared that neo-liberalism is the politicaleconomic consensus that has governed the last 40 years of policy in the U.S. and U.K. Its failure helped to produce the Trump moment. Now we have to replace it with something better.

Let’s check in with Soros... Mr Soros... Err, yes, thank you, I’ll be sure to publish that immediately. Yes sir, thank you sir, I appreciate the proper direction and the support from your empire...
Yes, America’s elite have fallen, it is now in the hands of the people who require a leader to blaze a path in the right direction, as determined by those helpful and ever thoughtful people like George Soros and Bill Gates.
(I swear, I don’t understand why they don’t just cut out the middle men and start publishing directly, rather than just sending e-mails to tell the media what to report. Guess it keeps up the fiction of an independent media.)
I think the article is actually correct in the sense that “neoliberalism”, if defined as the “free trade” globalist economics that have dominated the past 3 decades, has worn out its welcome and been rejected by the voters. Trump turned us towards a populist nationalism. The writers would turn us toward socialism. But either way, the old ways are D-E-A-D.
Nobody over the age of 25 thinks that communism/socialism works.
The liberals in our country talk about it in the hopes that they will look like they actually care about the poor. They dont.
Remember, dangerous animals are often the most dangerous to other, after they have been critically wounded!
Ummm...the socialists ARE the Elites. Some worked to hide it better than others, but the Elites - including a huge chunk of economic elites - are dead on communists.
They can’t hide from the Internet
One would hope that a person familiar with the decades-long failures of socialism in India would embrace the economic progress that increasing capitalism has recently brought to India.
I guess that, for some, protecting one’s superior “caste” is the most important thing.
Socialism always produces a caste with nearly unlimited power and a caste of peasants while destroying the middle class. Its great if youre the one living in the big house.
I had a few dentist appointments during the summer and fall of 2016—so I had a chance to read this pos “magazine” in the dentist’s lobby.
The attacks on candidate Trump were vicious lies—every issue—almost every page.
This “publication” is totally puke-worthy.
This Slime excuse of a News Mag has deteriorated since 2016, and is even worse for its Slime Fake News posing as news.
"Don't worry, Joe to the rescue! Ah, here's my limo. Where's that queer from South Bendover? I want him for my running mate and reverse human shield!"
If you can bear to listen to one of the elite know-it-alls go through his ponderous presentation, you'll probably get the idea. I probably won't, because I couldn't even stand the sound of his voice. Apparently Google tried to "memory hole" this particular talk, it hit a little too close to home, AG actually acknowledges this possibility at the outset of this talk.

So Democrats/Soros War Rooms buy stories, trade with 'intelligence' for insider stuff, then put the soiled compromised information in little news packets and send it to their favorites. Everyone gets to keep their delusions that their 'contacts and sources' are just 'friends'... that's my guess.

Why the games?
Papers like the New York Times and Washington Post need the delusion they don't 'BUY STORIES'... that's National Enquirer 'stuff' and they're BETTER.
LOL.
Hell, it didn't sound very appealing to me before 25, given that the very concept of it is that the lazy and inept should end up with the same results as the smart and hard-working. Not a side effect, not an undesirable but unavoidable consequence, the very GOAL of the system. Who the hell thinks that's a desirable outcome???
He gets it exactly right, except the big idea that Trump has failed and damaged the idea of capitalism.
There, he gets it exactly wrong.
It is not Capitalism that has failed, it is Progressivism, Socialism, Leftism.
They have brought us here.
