I think the article is actually correct in the sense that “neoliberalism”, if defined as the “free trade” globalist economics that have dominated the past 3 decades, has worn out its welcome and been rejected by the voters. Trump turned us towards a populist nationalism. The writers would turn us toward socialism. But either way, the old ways are D-E-A-D.
Ummm...the socialists ARE the Elites. Some worked to hide it better than others, but the Elites - including a huge chunk of economic elites - are dead on communists.
