DAYTON A 63-year-old man accused of shooting and killing two teens on his West Dayton property was indicted Thursday on charges of murder and felonious assault, which comes after months of public outcry over a lack of an arrest and criminal prosecution in the killings.
Victor Santana, who owned the home at 848 Conner St., has been indicted by a Montgomery County grand jury for fatally shooting 17-year-old Dayton residents Devin Henderson and Javier Harrison.
The evidence in this case does not demonstrate a reasonable claim of self-defense, Montgomery County Prosecutor Mat Heck Jr. said.
Santana is in the Montgomery County Jail following his arrest on a warrant Thursday. Santana faces four counts of murder, five counts of felonious assault and one count of attempt to commit murder.
Henderson, 17, of Dayton, died after being shot twice in the back in a detached garage, according to crime scene and autopsy photos and Montgomery County Coroners Office records.
Harrison, also 17, was struck by gunfire in his back, arm and thigh in the garage, the records show.

He was all about saving taxpayers future expenditures. NOT guilty....unless it is my boy, then GUILTY. Sarcasm intended...
Of course they would arrest the home owner for shooting people for committing a felony on his property. The argument is that his life was not in danger. Yeah right. How long would he have lived if he was unarmed and they attacked him. He’s not guilty. And two of the perps will not commit any more felonies.
“Yeah, entry wounds in the back are problematic.”

So too, is the fact that it is a DETACHED garage. He can still have an arguable claim, but the facts are not going to help him.
“Four” counts of murder?
Not if you believe the perps were reaching for something in their waistband before exiting the garage.
Something tells me the deceased individuals were criminals, commiting a crime or crimes, had been criminals for a number of years, and were headed for a lifetime of criminal acts.
Those darned teens...
With me on the jury, the homeowner would either get a hung jury or be declared not guilty.
Google them, look at the photos, then rest assured you’re 100% right.
I dunno.
I probably tend to be less conservative than most on this board when it comes to stuff like this.
But if you’re on SOMEONE ELSE’S property with the intent to rob, then i don’t care where you get shot, you shouldn’t have been there.
They weren’t a half block away running from the guy and shot in the back.
How is he supposed to figure out if they might turn around or not? Or what they’d do next?
He’s not a trained officer.
what’s he gonna say? “Turn around slowly”?
#### em.
Hey hope you’re well. :) Haven’t seen your name though i’m sure youve been around :)
Not Guilty. I hate thieves. Private sector or official government.
Mama said it was heartbreaking her son was shot in the back. I think it was heartbreaking he was committing crimes and other problems and his own actions led to his death.
Im on my phone right now. So I dont have time to go and research the original thread from several months ago about this very subject. But it was quite clear then, and its quite clear now when you look at all the facts that the homeowner is in fact guilty of murder. If someone wants to take the time to look up the original thread and post a link, I would appreciate it.
As much as we might like to dismiss this, as much as we might write this off as just another case of teens being teens, this is not the case. This was not a justifiable shooting.
Eff the American "Jesters" System.
Railroaded like President Trump.
OK. I found the time and found the link to the original report. I invite everyone to look at the comments. Look at the facts
