"Yeah, entry wounds in the back are problematic"

Not if you believe the perps were reaching for something in their waistband before exiting the garage.

40 years ago the police on Long Island New York told my father who had a restaurant at the time when restaurants were being robbed told him to shoot the robbers if he could but not in the back. Shooting people in the back is a no go. I have a restaurant now and a woman stuck her finger in her shirt late one night and said she was going to rob and kill me. I had a 9mm in my pocket but I figured she didn’t have anything . The police came and arrested her eventually . I wonder though if I thought she really did and I killed her what could I have proven as I didn’t have cameras and there was no witnesses. I’d have been screwed.
