Why Bloomberg is the Greatest Threat to Trump’s Re-election
HSA Coalition ^ | 21 Nov 2019 | Daniel Perrin

Michael Bloomberg has plenty of reasons to hide his true intentions and plans.

They are opaque by design for many reasons, one of which is that it gives him multiple options, depending on how things play out.

Is Bloomberg, the possible Presidential candidate, the reason he is “the greatest threat to Trump’s re-election?”

Uh, no.

Is Bloomberg’s money “the greatest threat to Trump’s re-election?”

Again, no.

The greatest threat to Trump’s re-election is Bloomberg’s data project, or as I call it, Bloomberg’s big data machine.

Why is it big? According to media reports, he has spent untold tens of millions of dollars and about a year building it.

Here’s another reason it’s big: when asked which data the Bloomberg big data machine would use, the team building it said very simply: “all the data.” All the data they can vacuum up or buy.

Then he tested his big data machine several weeks ago in the off-year elections.

His team publicly said they tested it state-wide in Virginia. He used his Everytown group (and likely others) to identify new voters, persuade new voters and turn out the vote of friendly new voters. And this November, Virginia set a new record for turnout in an off-year election. The result was a Blue Wave within the borders of Virginia. The Dems crushed the ball.

My guess is Bloomberg also tested the big data machine Pennsylvania too. All the indications are there that Bloomberg did: there was a Blue Wave confined to the borders of Pennsylvania too and Republican ramparts they’ve held since the civil war fell by margins that indicate the success of the Bloomberg big data machine in turning out new voters.

Bloomberg is not a billionaire like Tom Steyer, Howard Schultz or George Soros who deploy money in politics and policy...

Right there’s something going on here. Bloomberg is not the threat but this data collection in conjunction with the voter harvesting is.

Bloomberg is a threat because he will draw the moderates and possibly the undecides. That is the threat

Bloomberg may draw moderate socialists and moderate Never-Trumpers

the data machine that Bloomberg has built (and used in 2019 in Virginia and elsewhere) to be the threat to Trump

Nah. Trump’s “data machine” way bigger. And clanks when he walks.

Google Brad Parscale.

Attn: Brad Parscale.

If this article is correct than the GOP better get on the ball and develop a database as effective as the one Bloomberg has.

I’m going to add a Cupholder to my AR-15 that will hold a Big Gulp. I’ll call it the Bloomberg Model.

But Brad Parscale has been touting his rich database to draw Republicans to the poll. How to see how Bloomberg has something far more powerful.

Bloomberg carries loads of baggage. He is an unknown to most of the country. I’ve never seen a speech of his on YouTube, which means he doesn’t have a public persona that draws people to listen to him.

Howard Schultz would have been the better choice for the Dems. But he was roundly criticized for his moderate positions.

Why Bloomberg is the Greatest Threat to Trump’s Re-election

That's saying that there is NO threat to Trump's reelection.

Bloomberg would carry New York, California and New Jersey by huge margins. As well as the other blue states.

I've heard him talk. He doesn't understand how a rifle works, never mind why anyone would want one. He won't carry the Deer Hunter States. None of them. And there goes the election to Trump.

If he promises to spend ALL his money on his campaign, I promise to vote for him.

Honest!

Is he running on a platform of banning large soft drinks and salt shakers? Why yes, yes he is. That is what he is known for, and he has been known for that for so long that he will never be able to shake it.

Just as Psychojawea has never been able to rid herself of the Insufferable Indian Imposter identity she created for herself Bloomberg is inseparably branded by his prior food Nazi schtick.

Threat that Michael Bloomberg may be to Donald Trump, it has not yet evolved into a clear and present danger.

Michael Bloomberg, despite rumblings and noises made on his behalf, is not actually in the race as of the moment. But he does have a vast war chest, that applied to the right candidate (who has not emerged as of yet), could seriously undercut Trump in several critical state races.

The big player here, though, is the George Soros octopus that has several front “action committees” actively at work on state and local elections across the nation, many in these critical “swing states” that Trump carried handily this last election. These people shall not again make the mistake of buying additional votes in “safe” districts simply to run up a large majority of the popular vote, only to lose on the electoral college system which gives the slate of electors in each state sometimes disproportionate power in winning even only a plurality of a given state, as sometime happens when a strong third party emerges and makes significant inroads in states otherwise a tossup or more favored to one candidate or the other, and the favored candidate loses.

Not worth reading at all.

Election years that are not revolving around choosing the next POTUS are not a good barometer for these speculative narratives.

President Trump is showing “our side” how to succeed. The only question is, is “our side” paying attention?

Getting voters to turn out and actually vote is the primary challenge. That is the focus of their efforts, and occasionally ours as well. We’re losing that battle in “off” year voting, but are mildly successful on occasion, but usually only when the left completely comes out of the closet and overplays their hand.

Getting the message out to the %95 of Americans who don’t pay attention to politics is another key. We’re still losing that battle as we have been for decades, but the economy under President Trump has forced many to take notice of reality.

Can we get the message to stick?

His greatest act as Mayor of NYC was banning sugary drinks! Yeah, that’s a winning campaign!

I feel like a Coke about now!

He poses ZERO danger. If he managed somehow to get the nomination, he would not make the looney left happy, at all.

If he would settle for VP, he could give Warren or whoever access to the Data Machine, plus he could spend untold millions, as he would be on the ticket.

Enough to defeat Trump? No. At the head, he would be a joke. He has more money than Trump, but doesn't have fun with it. All those Dems who dislike Trump's business background will certainly not like a literal "Wall Street" Billionaire. Plus, he's short, ugly and uncharismatic. Heck in Bill Gates would have Geek Chic by comparison.
