Justice Department inspector general Michael Horowitz will appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee next month to testify on a forthcoming report on alleged surveillance abuse during the 2016 campaign.
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who oversees the panel, announced on Monday that Horowitz will appear publicly on Dec. 11.
Graham’s decision to schedule the hearing is the latest sign that Horowitz’s report is nearing its release. The GOP senator said earlier this month that he expected it within weeks.
“I appreciate all the hard work by Mr. Horowitz and his team regarding the Carter Page FISA warrant application and the counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign,” Graham said in a statement.
He added that he expected Horowitz to give a “detailed report” of his findings as well as make “recommendations as to how to make our judicial and investigative systems better.”
“I look forward to hearing from him. He is a good man that has served our nation well,” Graham added.

Hmmm...the deep state is going to have to get Trump out of the way in the next couple of weeks.
Since he’s scheduled to appear before the judiciary committee on Dec 11, I expect the report to be released before that. This is the first concrete deadline for release that I’ve seen. There’s no release date given, but at least there’s a date that the release won’t go beyond. Sounds like all good news to me.
It wont. No one will be prosecuted based on the IG report. IG personnel don’t want to set a precedent of prosecuting corrupt bureaucrats.

Then again, Horowitz could show up on December 11, and say that he can’t answer most questions because of a pending investigation. Seems like that’s what he did the last time he appeared before Congress.

This DAMN report needs to be released ASAP!! Why wait during the time Americans are busy planning their Christmas holiday?? Something stinks!! Don’t both house retire for the holidays December 12? Hmmmmm...I have a gut feeling they are releasing during this time to either give the cabal cover or NO charges will COME DOWN FOR THE SWAMP!! Released during the MOST busiest month of the year...WOW!! Color me skeptical!!
I suspect it means the actual report will not be coming out this year.
I believe we've had IG testimony cancelations in the past. It was something about "new leads".

No one - at least not among the major players - will see the inside of a courtroom. The US “justice” system simply doesn’t operate that way.
That’s my take ,too. Graham is pushing the house to either show their cards or fold. I think at least one or two of the names that have come up in the show trial will be in the report. My guess is Amos Hochstein and Yoko. Hochstein is a Obama hold over who worked with Biden on the energy deal. Maybe.. finally... hopefully.
