ABC News aired a video on Sunday that host Tom Llamas said depicted a Turkish attack in northern Syria against Kurdish civilians. Turkey is indeed pushing into Syria and slaughtering Kurds along the way, but the video ABC News played last night is from a military gun demonstration in Kentucky that was published to YouTube in 2017.
“This video, right here, appearing to show Turkey’s military bombing Kurd civilians in a Syrian border town,” Llamas said on the October 13 broadcast as the video played.
But the explosions in the video are identical to explosions seen in a video titled, “Knob Creek night shoot 2017.” Knob Creek Gun Range, in the town of West Point, Kentucky, hosts a biannual event called the “Military Gun Shoot & Military Gun Show” where weapons are fired at night. Members of the public can come and see the show for a fee in April and October.

And, as I recall (?) it’s not a “military” show. Private folks legally owning FA weapons putting a few rounds down range. Vidoes should keep the antis up all night with horrendous stomach cramps. :-)
West Point, KY is just a couple of miles north of the main entrance to Ft. Knox. One drives through it going from Louisville to Ft. Knox on US 31 West. I made that drive many times when I was assigned to “The [True] Home of Armor” 45 years ago.
The mainstream TV media is a walking corpse. No simply has declared it officially “dead” yet.
I watch no TV or Cable News. Even without their bias (which is severe) the TV news format, in terms news content, which has a maximum 2-3 minutes per story (usually much less) can not transmit even 1/100th of the amount of information which is available on the internet in the form of blogs, independent news websites, podcasts, etc...
Fake but accurate...
Every one of those tracers going downrange on that Knob Creek video made a sound...
That sound was “MOOOOOOOOOOOLON LAAAAAAAAAABE”...

You can see the crowd and other details if you play back in slow motion. ABC thinks we are stupid, they’re not even trying to hide their blatant fakery.

No, it wasn’t an “error” you dips#its, it was FAKE NEWS ABC intentionally trying to distort the facts to influence public opinion - and getting caught at it.
And there you see how the leftists get their opinions, from their fake news.
In the days of yore the conventional wisdom was that one would read newspapers for more details about a story. That’s before newspapers omitted salient facts or intentionally buried them at the end of a story.
There’s a fake news frenzy on Syria and Turkey and the Kurds.
They think it will hurt Trump.
This example shows that nothing reported can be believed.

Limbaugh is bringing this up in his second hour as I write this along with growing Syrian developments involving Russia.
It might be a good thing that they didn’t explain what the video actually was.

I wonder if some stringer or freelancer was paid big bucks for that video and snookered ABC.
