The mainstream TV media is a walking corpse. No simply has declared it officially “dead” yet.

I watch no TV or Cable News. Even without their bias (which is severe) the TV news format, in terms news content, which has a maximum 2-3 minutes per story (usually much less) can not transmit even 1/100th of the amount of information which is available on the internet in the form of blogs, independent news websites, podcasts, etc...

In the days of yore the conventional wisdom was that one would read newspapers for more details about a story. That’s before newspapers omitted salient facts or intentionally buried them at the end of a story.

I could never stand the way these buffoons talk. I don't know who it was that decided all news people should speak with the same ridiculously fake cadence, but the sound of it is nails on a chalkboard to me. Always has been. And now I associate that manner of speech with being a lying piece of sh**.
