My point was precisely that - because the franchise has countless fans, Hamill has a huge audience. His Twitter comments get cross-posted to open forums, such as the numerous Star Wars fan groups on Facebook. Even casual fans are likely to see this, courtesy of other group members. Just part of the questionably-earned “celebrity” status..

I don’t give a good damn what an old has been like Hamill says - he’s a moron foaming at the mouth. But you can read how basically all of the mainstream left cheers on a gown man being a total asshole to a 3 year old child.........These people have no class, they are hateful, evil scum who will never leave us in peace unless we force them to do so.
When you no longer own firearms, you will be at the mercy of sociopaths like this. And there are a huge number of them.
