Senate Intelligence Committee member Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) said she wants to see a "word-for-word" transcript of President Donald Trump's call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, The Hill reported. Her desire for the supposed transcript comes after meeting with acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Joseph Maguire and the intelligence community’s inspector general Michael Atkinson on Thursday.
According to Feinstein, the whistleblower's complaint "suggests that an 'official word-for-word transcript of the call' was produced," and Congress should have access to the document.
"If so, it should be provided to Congress for review. Congress has a constitutional oversight duty. It’s important that we understand who took actions to hide details of the call with Zelensky and how high those actions reached," Feinstein said. "I find the whistleblower complaint to be highly credible. It suggests that the president used his office to demand political favors from a foreign country and that White House personnel knew this was wrong and tried to cover it up by burying details of the call with Ukrainian President Zelensky."

I don’t think a word by word transcript is how any such calls between any president and foreign leader work. Is she truly that ignorant. Oh wait, yes.

I would say to her, Feinstein, try to keep up while I say this slowly. People who have done transcriptions of calls say there are multiple people writing down what is said by the people on the call. Then the multiple sets of words written down are compared so that if one writer misses a word, another may have gotten that word, and they can compile a complete transcript.
I’m pretty sure that, since Nixon got messed over for having tapes of conversations, no President has ever taped another conversation. You are probably confused by the terms “electronic” and “digital” that have been used in reporting this CF. It’s okay, because you are an old granny who doesn’t know new fangled technology.
The leaker who started this S-storm has very little idea how the White House people handle calls and did not have access to the transcript, so can be forgiven for getting a lot of these whining complaints and innuendos wrong. If you want to know why so much is wrong in this complaint, maybe ask Adam Schiff and his staff, who are the ones who wrote the complaint.
So, you can relax now and let your Lawfare staff handle the serious stuff.
