Wall Street Dem Donors Warn The Party: We’ll Sit Out, or Back Trump, if you Nominate Warren

Democratic donors on Wall Street and in big business are preparing to sit out the presidential campaign fundraising cycle — or even back President Donald Trump — if Sen. Elizabeth Warren wins the party’s nomination.

In recent weeks, CNBC spoke to several high-dollar Democratic donors and fundraisers in the business community and found that this opinion was becoming widely shared as Warren, an outspoken critic of big banks and corporations, gains momentum against Joe Biden in the 2020 race.

“You’re in a box because you’re a Democrat and you’re thinking, ‘I want to help the party, but she’s going to hurt me, so I’m going to help President Trump,’” said a senior private equity executive, who spoke on condition of anonymity in fear of retribution by party leaders.

My opinion, a candidate is like a Christmas tree. There is not much there without the ornaments that come with it (e.g. the cabinet, admin, policy wonks).

In that case Biden ought to win the nomination.

He's got the plugs

The Wall Streeters have supported dimrats in the past because despite all their threats, the dims know where their bread is buttered. And the donors knew this. It was all political posturing. This go round, the dim candidates are serious about destroying Capitalism and replacing it with their version of communism.

Harris is the most formidable Dem for Trump to face.

Maybe it's Tulsi Time for the Dems.

Looking at the other two-dozen candidates who are basically endorsing similar platforms and policies, the problem could be the Dem Party.

This senior executive might want to consider changing parties, because it appears that the younger Dems are even more interested in 'hurting' prosperity.

As in 1912, new tax bills for the rich are in the works.

Globalists stuffed the US with millions of law-breaking leftists who vote, legally and illegally, and love stuff paid for by others.

Accountants might want to study European wealth tax forms.

Rich globalists will still have enough to live very, very well, unfortunately.

They may wish to spend their wealth before Warren can.

Sanders isn’t a favorite on Wall Street. I assume they’ve come to the conclusion he can’t get the nomination... but that Warren might...

Every democrat so far - all those who raised their hands when asked if they would give FREE MEDICAL CARE TO ILLEGALS - would tank the markets. Wall Street knows that... they also know that if track record counts - that Trump will do what he can to keep America first... ‘cause he’s been doing it. Trump might get the Wall Street vote in spite of who Democrats find to run... IF they can even find someone new...

“Harris is the most formidable Dem for Trump to face.”

Yeah, the woman I saw on TV giggle like a 12-year old girl when Biden correctly told her something wasn’t constitutional.

I cannot shake the feeling that Tulsi Gabbard is the person who will arise from the ashes. She is somewhat moderate, somewhat un-hysterical, and has military experience. She might pull the teeth of the loud marxists and find a following in undecided voters.

“The bigger problem with Warren is that she has even less appeal to black voters than Hillary did.”

A ‘D’ by a candidate’s name means 80% of black voters will vote for the candidate in the general election. And the Democratic turnout machine is well-oiled and tuned to near perfection.

The ballots in many states will be stuffed with things like $15/hour minimum wage proposals.

Look for Tom Steyer to jump in the race.

Isn't he already?

This does not compute. What am I missing?

Harris has a glass jaw.

I was thinking that she had more of a detachable jaw ... like a snake, to make what she does easier ...

If the ‘D’ gets 80% of the black vote they will lose in a landslide. Trump got 8% in 2016 and Romney got 4% in 2012.

Warren isn’t a Marxist, she’s a Tammany Hall Sachem in white women’s clothing.
