Trump says he fired national security advisor John Bolton
Oh great, now we’ll have #Boltongate.
I believe this has to do with Afghanistan and the Taliban.
Bolton I think, does not believe in negotiating with the Taliban and wants to keep the US in Afghanistan and perpetuate the war against them.
Trump of course wants to leave that God forsaken place after 18 years of being there.
Trump is trying to get the band back together for 2020. Bolton and his policies don’t really fit there. I wouldn’t surprise me to see him back in Trump’s second term.
FIB director is confirmed by the Senate. NSA director serves at pleasure of POTUS.

If so, this is troubling. People related to the President should not have any influence on official policies at all. Smacks of nepotism.
I don’t want to get involved in stupid wars either. But do you think we should go into Mehico and kick their ass? At some point people,you’re gonna have to fight. Our government is probably the first engagement.

Views like that are essentially a polar opposite of Bush and Bolton.
How long before we see Bolton on CNN and MSNBC denouncing Trump? I’ll say 2 weeks.
I doubt it. Democrats hate Bolton even more than the armchair isolationist brigade does.

Iran cannot be defused. You are talking about religious fanatics not the soviets of the last century. For 30 years Iran has been rated leading exporter of Terrorism and they continue to develop the bomb and ICBM’s every delay in regime change is additional exposure to us and out allies.

There should be one Fox News personality celebrating this, even if the rest (along with CNNMSNBCABCNPRCBS anchors, execs and viewership) put Bolton on a pedestal just below Henry the K as an “expert” in foreign policy.
Talk is cheap. Wars are not.
