Anchorage Daily News reports that Todd Palin, the husband of former Alaska governor and GOP vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, has filed for divorce.
In a document filed Friday in Anchorage Superior Court, Todd Palin, 55, asked to dissolve the marriage, citing an “incompatibility of temperament between the parties such that they find it impossible to live together as husband and wife.”

Case in point.. when the progs who invaded Wasilla attempted to burn down her church and those inside after the 2008 election was over.
Going only on her videos, he probably tired of her being on her device, or needing to be on the phone all the time.
If I could change one thing in my house, it would be to throw the smartphones out and replace them with flip phones.
Sarah did her part to our awakening and I will always love her and Todd for it.....

I knew a great loving couple, they tried to have a baby for years, and after some treatment wound up having several (more than 2, would not want to ID them otherwise).
All was great for several years, until she became naturally pregnant, and then the marriage fell apart.
I hear they’re still great people, I just don’t cross paths with them anymore.
A real shame, not sure what happened but damn just damn, 31 years of marriage over just like that..I think the stress of everything just got too much for them

Heartbreaking. They have been together since high school. Weathered some big personal storms too. I wish them both well and pray for them to reconcile

The amount of drama in that one family seemed enough for ten families. I respect them both, but I am not that surprised, due to all the stress factors coming at them.
One gets tired of being on emotional overload, then communication lock-down, on and off, over & over.
One of them may have just needed to step off the roller-coaster that had become their lives together.
There was likely a constant pressure to present a united front to their children and to the outside world.
It could be that as Todd slowly recovered from his snowmobile accident of some years back, he had time to really stop and think about it all. I wish them both well.
