Gorsuch: Americans should remember political opponents 'love this country as much as we do'

Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch in a newly released interview laments a lack of civility in the country while demurring on political questions involving President Trump.

Gorsuch told The Associated Press for a story published Saturday that Americans should remember that their political opponents “love this country as much as we do."

Gorsuch has conducted a series of interviews as the 52-year-old conservative justice makes the rounds to promote his new book, “A Republic, If You Can Keep It,” which is slated for release Tuesday.

As one of the court’s most conservative members, Gorsuch praised federal judges who “believe the Constitution is the greatest charter of human liberty that history’s ever known,” The Post reported.

I have little doubt we'll see all the Gorshy fans on here claim they are shocked and outraged when he votes with the four RAT judges to uphold liberal "precedents" like gay marriage, and THEN they will call for his impeachment and say there way no way anyone could have guessed he'd turn traitor like that.

He is right. Your typical Americans, of all sides, naturally love the USA. The leftists who espouse hating it have to work very hard to convince others. They Have to lie against all evidence to the contrary that this is a horrible country. And you have to be loosely ignorant and probably liberal in outlook to believe it.

Justice Gorsuch is incorrect.

Only nationalists love their country. Internationalists not only hate their country, they wish to destroy it as a country.

For example, internationalists hate a homogeneous history, culture, language and people. They seek unlimited immigration from other nations to dilute these things, and to erase the uniqueness from their land so that it no longer has a unique people, unique language, unique history and culture, and can stand with other nations as special.

Internationalists do not want either democracy nor republicanism. Instead they crave a modernized version of a feudal royalism, with two classes of people, the wealthy and powerful, and the peasants.

Even the internationalist concept of law is different, as they despise Common Law and its precepts; instead wanting a variety from the transition of Roman Law to Napoleonic Law, to the modern French Civil Code. That is, a law written by the elites to be obeyed by the peasants.

Internationalists do not respect the civil rights “Endowed by our Creator”, instead seeing all rights as imparted by government.

So no, Justice Gorsuch, the political opponents to conservatism *do not* love the country as much as we do. They are *not* a “loyal opposition”. Instead they adhere to and adore tyranny and abuse, seeking a mafia-style dictatorship. They do not respect life, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness.

They have surrendered all that we value as Americans, so do not deserve to be respected either in thought or in deed.

And certainly not by the law.

The Left loves the United States only in the sense of, say, Woody Guthrie, who wrote “This Land Is Your Land”. They may admire the natural beauty of this country and their American comrades, but despise the historic polity, culture, and religion that distinguishes America. Antifa, Black Lives Matter, etc., are merely a contemporary form of the Red Guards. The real issue is the subversion of the political system. Fifty years ago, police agencies maintained Red Squads, and even Democrat run cities like Chicago were tough on the SDS and the Weathermen, yesteryear’s Antifa. Now the police in numerous cities like Portland, New York, and Boston turn a blind eye toward leftist thugs and persecute rightist demonstrators. Liberal jurisdictions like Charlottesville “throw the book” at the man who hit a Communist demonstrator.

Either lawful order is restored, traditional Americans are subsumed by Communists, or there is a reaction similar to what happened in Germany, Hungary, or Spain after traditionalists were sufficiently repulsed by leftist terror. Washington, Lenin/Stalin/Mao, or Hitler/Horthy/Franco. Only the first is a good choice. But we may wind up with the third, or God help us, the second.
